Written by American composer Peter Thoegersen, these songs are a true collaboration. I have never met Peter but we became Facebook friends and shared an appreciation of musical complexity. Peter would post tourettic Facebook posts that would have me screaming with laughter, and I suggested to him that he make some song settings of his posts for me to perform. These songs follow on from my work with Richard Thomas in relation especially to the opera 'Tourettes Diva' where I sing the unsayable and where similar vernacular styles are set to music, albeit in a very different musical style.  When these songs are performed live, the final canto will be created partly in real time, with a fixed piano accompaniment but with the posts being generated by Peter in real time that I will then use as the basis for a vocal improvisation.
