Lorely Mur is a Dj-Producer from Ciudad Juárez, México, and is now based in Denver. She is a resident of the long-standing Mexican venue, HardpopClub, and is also known for bringing dark, energetic, and hard-hitting styles of techno to the dancefloor. 

Lorely’s passion for music began when she taught herself the basics of techno on YouTube; after, she left to study at the world renowned Point Blank Music School. Now, creating experimental sounds, synthesizers and percussions have played a pivotal role to her music career; thus causing her to gather the support from some of the biggest names in the industry.

As for the mix, it is meant to tell a story through a wave of acid, industrial, and emotional sounds.

This mix is meant to be loud, have a voice about a state of mind and the state of the world within this hierarchy. Is meant to be revolutionary not only as music in the spirit of the revolution, but revolutionary because their composers developed new sounds or harmonies that expanded the possibilities of sound production through electronic sounds. It meant to break the "rules" of music, taking away expectations and fulfilments. It grows in intensity and might give you a feeling of sadness or mix of emotions that seems steeped in articulacy.

About the Artist:

They say great people, like diamonds, are formed under great pressure. As far as pressure goes, none is greater than the task of growing up in one of the most difficult periods in the history of Ciudad Juarez. At a time when few thrived and many more suffered, Lorely Mur was pouring herself into the one escape she had always known: Music. Her obsession with bringing forth a new proposal to the halls of techno, along with her relentless drive and perseverance has shined through in all aspects of her life. A prolific student of her crafts, she boasts an intellectual record few in our industry can come close to.

 

A resident of the electronic music temple that is Hardpop, in her hometown of Ciudad Juarez, Lorely has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in the global music circuit. Always impressing with her relentless sound, not one to be confined by the limits others have set on specific sounds, Lorely has continuously strived to push the boundaries of what is expected in a techno set, without ever caving to trends or facades.


Now residing in the city of Denver, her reach continues to grow as audiences stateside continue to be wowed by her technical mastery of the decks, along with the inquisitiveness and boundary pushing always found within her sets.

 

Lorely’s passion for music has been leading her to create her own sounds with the use of experimental synthesizers and percussions. She has constantly impressed with her deep and dark Techno hits.

She has played coveted gigs in Detroit, Chicago, Athens, Istanbul, and throughout Germany, as well as her recent debut in the legendary Tresor Berlin and Gate Club in Batumi, Georgia.
