Excellent documentary, interviewing all the people who were there at the time, so you get a good sense of the club and the vibe at the time. Check it.

Leks has been involved in New York's deep house and techno scene since early 2000s and was a regular opener at many NYC clubs before moving on to throwing his own events and launching 'AMPD!'. As founder and creative director of 'AMPD!' he produced numerous events at lofts, speakeasies and industrial spaces between 2009 and 2011. 2011 brought his production debut on Half Seas Over with two remixes to Ray Okpara and Mobius Strum, followed by a collaboration with Inxec for LA's Culprit records which highlighted Leks' NY house and heavy Danny Tenaglia influence.

From 2009-2011, Leks featured and djayed along with the following talented artists at AMPD! parties: Soul Clap, Wolf & Lamb, Delano Smith, Tom Demac, Lauhaus, Masomenos, Soul Minority, Inxec, Brothers' Vibe, Alexi Delano, Kabuto & Koji, Bill Patrick, Leonel Castillo, Neil Aline, No Regular Play, Taimur and Fahad, Eric Cloutier, Soho808 & DJ MSG. Leks has also shared the decks with Lee Burridge, Reboot, Paco Osuna, Clive Henry, Melon, Nick Curly, Hugo, Audiofly, DJ T, Behrouz, Evil Eddie Richards, Simon Baker, Radio Slave, Chez Damier and Willie Graf to name a few.
