Assisted by Ghanaian MC and singer Nawtyboi Tattoo (previous work with Slimdrumz and Gafacci), “Hello” is an afro beat love fest, all yearning vocals and sensual come ons, arranged flawlessly over Lorenzo’s sonorous keys and insatiable bass line. London’s @mrmitchmusic (Planet Mu, Boxed) provides a fittingly low slung remix on the b-side, flipping afro beat into lounge house. Think Mr. Eazi meets Al Green. The package is out on March 14 and will be followed by Lorenzo’s debut album.
