Dej Macatata was the surprise of 2020 with 2020 being his break out year.
From humble beginnings at age 19 he was a paid dancer at clubs in Perth, Australia dancing for Dj Greg Packer, Peewee Ferris and Sir Carl Cox. 
Dej was taught about mixing back then and just couldn't do it , so he thought. He actually thought he didn't have a musical bone in his body except understanding of music, well he has found out if you have passion desire goals, understanding of music and work ethic then anything is possible. 24 years in the making this 43 yo young dad of two has turned into the one of the stand outs of 2021. His ability to put the head set on and create is talent and unique.
His goal is to pump it out on the big stage and with the self belief he has now he can't wait for his opportunity.
Dej has a mentor that will never be out of his life Jeremy Abbott. Dej talks of Jeremy in such a way I'd say he wouldn't be this far advanced without his guidance, or had 2.3 million plays on Sound cloud in the last 4 months.
