First of two remixes I made of Cassian's "I Like What You're Doing", out now on BangGang 12s. This is the Dangerous one.

Produced by Butch Vig and mixed by Alan Moulder, Wasting Light was recorded entirely on analog tape in the garage of Grohl s home in California s San Fernando Valley. The no computers/no software back to basics approach has resulted in arguably the strongest and most cohesive effort of the band s 15-year-plus career: From first single Rope to the frenetic opener Bridge Burning to the beautifully bipolar These Days to stunning guest spots from Bob Mould ( Dear Rosemary") and Krist Novoselic ("I Should Have Known"), Wasting Light is a singular triumph: a band that s headlined arenas, stadiums and festivals the world over stripping itself down to the bare essentials and coming up with a world class band s finest hour.

Glen Check - I've Got This Feeling (Lorenz Rhode Remix)

&gt;&gt; Strip Steve “Delta Disco” found a lot of fans from House to Disco music so it doesn’t surprise to decide to remix this EP with some new and old names in this genre.
Ian Pooley did his oldschool house version of “Dancin’”, while Das Glow (Institubes) comes up with a weird, resonant but jackin version. Lorenz Rhode gave “Breakin’” the 80’s disco funk back, kicking you right back to the Goonies and ET.
The Rynecologist Remix of “Breakin’” which was also released on the MIAMI NOIZE Sampler is a pure master. Clap Mikes cut up version of Strip Steve’s “Children” shows how you work with samples. Crydamour’s hero Sedat turns “AM/FM” into a banger for today’s dancefloor leaving us with a great feeling in the second part of the track. To round up this Remix EP we asked the live band Crystal (Institubes) from Tokyo that came up with their own version of “AM/FM”. Cheers to that! &lt;&lt;

Bright, colorful and sassy artist Yelle is back with a new single « La Musique » to be released on Kitsuné on October 4th 2010!
Yelle (and producers GrandMarnier &amp; Tepr) first came to prominence in 2006 with the song “Je veux te voir” (“I wanna see you”) becoming in just a few months a cult hit on dance floors from Paris to London and New York…
Yelle is driving the new non-aggressive girl power scene, delivering kick-ass lyrics while echoeing a certain nostalgia for the golden years of French electro-pop (Etienne Daho, Elli &amp; Jacno, Chagrin d’Amour Taxi Girl or Lio) but all boosted with her own flavored groove and subtle vibe into some booty-pop. She is currently putting the final touch to her new songs on the West Coast of France. Produced by Siriusmo, ‘La Musique’ is one of them.
