"Born as a post-human evolution of his old dark ambient project Vacuum Templi (2014 – 2019), recovering its occult references and anti-catholic stances,“Iconocaust” is a 6-track noise enigma: a profane/ pagan reading of the ultra-catholic roots of The Marches region and the christian folklore of the South Italy in general, which it's the artist’s family roots (even if he was born in Turin, also historical land of anti-clericals from which was born its esoteric and occult background) but also with an underlying mysteric message, interpreting the concept of “the flesh of the body of Christ” as a metaphor of the organic and spiritual caducity of the human being, doomed to suffering to save itself.
Taking inspiration from his metal/ hardcore roots, he combine hardcore/ industrial/ dub rhythms, sharp guitars samples with existentialist/ nihilist punk lyrics, dehumanized synthetic screams and sulphureus atmospheres, in a sample-based metal/ horror-electronic processed mayhem.
Placenta is a synthetic compound reincarnated in a single post-human, being inspired by 80s dark/ industrial aesthetics, anarcho punk/ DIY ideologies,apocalyptic sounds and electronics."

Sabato 18 Novembre, Loris Cericola in concerto. 

Musicista, video-artista e sperimentatore sonoro attivo da anni nel contesto underground con il trio post-hardcore Spirale e con il suo recente progetto Placenta.
A suo nome ha pubblicato due album quali "Metaphysical Graffiti" per Artetetra Records (2022) e il recentissimo ed autoprodotto "Memory Hole", che scandisce una ricerca basata sulla stratificazione armonica attraverso sintetizzatori analogici e campionamenti per nastro magnetico, intuendo elementi tanto dal minimalismo e dalla kosmitsche musik quanto dalla psichedelia.

The fourth episode is inspired by “The Missing Eye”, a photobook by @mattiaparodi and @piergiorgio_sorgetti published by @witty_books (2021). The book holds their research around the photographic device and its visual projections which aren’t deduced from our immediate experience of
reality but are the results of the combination of different cognitive paths in which all senses participate with sight. We put together a sound collage where the pioneers of electronic music and the hypnotic voice of @ginevrashay are combined together to stimulate all the senses. The synthesizers elevate this episode into a realm of its own where we let ourselves guided by words about textures and citrus. An ode to dreams and memories.

@publishing.station a meeting point between music and photography, a publishing experiment capable of combining paper and people, a station to connect different disciplines, a series of episodes that talk about photo books.
