Tio Rex aka Miguel Reis is a Portuguese singer-songwriter based in Setúbal. Driven by delicate guitar compositions and armed with a deep voice, Miguel has been constructing his own auto-biographical landscape, adding new chapters and windows to the world that surrounds him with each record. It's since 2012 that, somewhere between Leonard Cohen and mewithoutYou, Tio Rex has been working on a rich and varied discography - including the well received "5 Monstros" EP (2014), "Ensaio Sobre a Harmonia" (2015) and "5 Tragedies" (2018) - where you can just as easily find spoken word and soft ballads on guitar, as you can full band compositions with strings and wind arrangements.
