An American radio icon, Joe is known best for his engaging, often philosophical, monologues and radio dramas. Joe’s radio programs are at times dark and frequently funny. Adding to the absurd atmosphere of his monologues and dramas are loops of percussive music over drones.

Throughout his career, Joe has been honored with many major industry awards, including the George Foster Peabody Award, and an Emmy. Over the years Joe’s distinctive approach to making radio has inspired producers around the country to experiment with and stretch the medium beyond traditional boundaries. >>>Influenced by her musical family from childhood, starting with piano as a child and then guitar as a teenager, Meredith began playing with various duos, singing folk, pop and country styles but gravitated to a love of Jazz developing a passion for Bossa Nova. This style of music became a focus in her writing and performing. She focused in depth with Bossa Nova, learning many of the great traditional tunes in their original Portuguese, and had some of her tunes translated into Portuguese by a friend from Rio De Janiero

Meredith has performed live at various venues around Los Angeles, sitting in with the Cathy Segal Garcia band in Eagle Rock, Jazz Pianist George Kahn at Vitello's, Marisol Saens at The Club in El Segundo, and also performed and wrote with Jazz Artist, Pete Snell and his Trio at Synergy in Culver City.

Over the years, Meredith has written music that was placed in several TV shows, including “The Young And The Restless”, Aaron Spelling shows “Love Boat” and “7th Heaven”  along with songs on MTV shows, the cable show “Girlfriends” as well as in the Film Fest Dances w/ Films among others.

Meredith toured Europe as a Singer with Classical group Cantori Domino and also sang with William Bryant's Gospel group.  She was a backup singer on albums by Recording Artist/Producer, Seth Hartman, and also played guitar on his album “Immortal Dream”, and also sang for musician John Deaver.  Meredith formed a duo, Sterling Chapman, playing Pop and Country. More recently she has performed with Marisol Saens (and occasionally Marcus Milius, the great harmonica player on her new album) in various venues playing Bossa Nova and Boleros.

Since completing her new Album, Never Say No to Love, Meredith is continuing to work on jazz,
Bossa Nova and world music.  The album is available on CD Baby, as well as iTunes, Amazon, Google play, Rhapsody, Spotify, YouTube among others.
