As summer in Berlin is in full effect and energy of parties within the city is back to pre pandemic times, we are thrilled to invite our friend Acidfinky for this June‘s episode of our podcast series.

Acidfinky (she/they) is a German/Algerian DJ and producer based in Berlin. 

She is one of the co-founders of BLVSH, a feminist DJ collective. Together they aim at the diversification of the electronic music scene by curating interdisciplinary events and teaching beginners how to mix in the Refuge Worldwide studios. She is also part of Éclat, a Berlin-based producer collective for female, trans and non-binary artists. 

You can catch her on THF Radio with her bi-monthly morning show as well as « Twisting Knobs », which consists of DJ sets and interviews around music and feminism.

He's been producing tracks since 2016. His interest in synthesizers began in his childhood, with an early inspiration being Van Halen and Rush. After some years he discovered Drexciya and the Electro journey had begun. He has releases on labels such as Intellitronic Bubble, FNS, Mind Controlled Rectifier and more.

BIO
Brazilian-born, Berlin-based DJ, curator, and event promoter Paty Vapor has been active since 2013.

A member of the infamous Brazilian party series BLUM, Berlin-based label Slow Motion Rec. / Wrong Era, and the Not Found night series. Performing regularly at the pinnacle of Berlin’s venues, Panorama Bar, RSO, Renate, Urban Spree, OXI, and Sameheads, among others, solo and as one half of DJ duo Wisdom Tits, her project with Caillou.

Her sets evoke an old-school nostalgia of the ’80s, moving from EBM and Industrial to Synthpunk, Wave and Belgian New Beat. Definitively characterised by vicious kick and snare, thick and angular basslines, space synths and arcane vocals.

Meet Anastasia Zems — a Lisbon-based DJ, producer, and singer who had already caught our attention with her soothing one-take vocals and clever balance between earthy rhythms and urban energy (an approach we’ve always had a crush on). Up until now, Anastasia’s production efforts have earned her singles, remixes, and EPs on labels like Super Utu, Les Yeux Orange, Electric Shapes, Whypeopledance, and Human Endevaour — a pretty decent portfolio to say the least.

In her Escape Route podcast entry, Anastasia invites the listener to a rather industrial-leaning mid-tempo workout — as hot as the burning concrete of downtown Sofia in late July.
