Penelope's Fiance - The Future Won't Forgive Us

Metacognition - an inescapable loop of observing and analyzing.
A processor, obsessed over order, connection, patterns and meaning. Sort of like a machine with the purpose of rewiring itself through self calibration.
It's a natural occurring mind process, inevitable and possibly infinitely complex.
This EP was created with the intention of bringing to light a couple of mind phenomena for easier understanding of the process behind processing visual and aural information and analyzing how you process it.

Inside exploring metacognition, Pareidolia was one of the first visual tricks I encountered, which is why it's the first in this EP.
Next are res cogitans and res extensa, two opposites to the identity. To be in control or flow freely? Materialism or idealism?
Apophenia deals with a different question for me. Is there a purpose to all of this? To sense patterns that aren't there/connected if looked at from a rational perspective, or to trust your feeling and believe there's something else to all of this that cannot be understood by the limited human perception?
