An artist with a diverse and storied relationship with the dance music scene, GMJ & Matter are proud to see Kasper Koman make his label debut with the twin-track "Sinking Sky / Biome". A veteran of more than a century of production credits dating back to a 2008 debut, Kasper Koman has seen his work signed to myriad high-profile labels including the likes of Plattenbank, Anjunadeep and Guy J's Lost & Found. From central Netherlands, Kasper has combined trademark emotion with a powerful and evocative sound that has seen his music supported by such leading tastemakers as Guy Mantzur, Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo and Guy J himself. Now debuting on Meanwhile, the "Sinking Sky" opener is characterised by a driving beat and metronomic hi-hat pattern. A running 16th note bassline pattern enters the fray in the second movement with a fizzing vibrancy provided by resonating and filtered effects. A cast of additional characters add to the overall sonic landscape including a beautifully juxtaposed pad progression. A spine-tingling breakdown provides acetylene-edged emotion via the extended bassline motif, before hitting its stride once more in the latter stages to wondrous effect and no small amount of production talent. "Biome" continues the narrative of raw effects-laden power, while a strong kick lays the foundation for a piercing percussive groove, adding swing to the off-beat. A well-crafted sonic palette supplies a soft chord progression of Kraftwerk-inspired imagination as a meandering array of well-placed effects, white-noise washes and rasping bass notes create a mosaic of sounds. The result is a hypnotic, angular offering that keeps listener interest piqued without a central melody seeing the 6-minute piece fly past in an instant. Alto Astral are Matias Villafañe and Martina Mozzoni, an Argentinian pair based in Spain making amazing, emotional music as a live performance duo incorporating live vocals, guitars, pianos, synthesizers, and controllers. Touring across the globe, they have been nominated for Best Duo and Best Live Set in M.E.C Awards in Argentina, and have an impressive back catalogue on labels such as The Soundgarden, Or Two Strangers and Movement. 

Opening with 'Between Us' starts off like a sleeping giant, drawing the listener in. A tribal beat gets the dancefloor moving joins quickly by dancing hats and pretty arps. Martinas vocals are heartfelt and instantly captivating drawing even the curious passer-by deeper into their emotional web of wonder! Next up, 'Luciérnaga' begins in quiet ambience before launching into a tough progressive groove that hypnotises with delicate arps and a thunderous bassline. Super deep, but highly danceable, the energy is undeniable.

Eichenbaum, the Argentinean producer known for his melodic prowess, has been steadily building a catalogue of tracks that ooze style. Following on from his standout 2023 EP on Balance Music, Eichenbaum drops another gem that’s already turning heads: a progressive anthem backed by remixes from some of the scene’s most promising rising talent.

Sweden’s EMPHI flips the script with a remix that’s dripping in groove. The tempo feels seductive, anchored by a bassline that swings like it’s got something to prove. Originally featured on the Manualism XVII compilation, 'Drac Trac' by Riigs and Paul Hazendonk stood out with its unique blend of indie deep house and obscure bass guitar grooves, paying homage to the raw underground disco spirit of the late '70s.

Following a remix contest hosted on the Finishmoremusic platform, and a sneak peek with Northcat's remix on Manual's sister label MNL, the full remix EP is now here, showcasing fresh and imaginative takes on the original.

Debuting with his first ever release, Edgeways delivers a driving melodic/progressive house rework that unfolds with powerful momentum. Eko Centrik offers a standout version, layering her own written and recorded vocals for an emotional, genre-blurring journey. Joe Prang rounds out the EP with a leftfield twist, diving deep into electronica and broken beat textures.

'Drac Trac (The Remixes)' is a bold reimagining of a standout track, with each remix offering a different lens through which to experience Riigs & Paul Hazendonk's creation.

SMFM stands for 'Supplying Mirages For Mankind' , it is a dance music&#8232;project between global superstar Fab Morvan (Milli Vanilli) and Dutch dj/producer Sean McCaff. Morvan has re-connected with the dance music world after living in Holland and collaborating with DJ/producers such as Don Diablo, Muzikjunki & Peter Gelderblom to name a small few while DJ Sean McCaff has been a firm fixture throughout New York, Ibiza and the Netherlands since 1987. His production credits are equally impressive with the likes of Little Mountain Recordings, United Records, GrooveTek, Waterloo Productions, Hard Time Recordings, Spiritual Records, Vibe Records U.K. 

This release contains a radio edit aswell as a remix from Guy J, well known producer with releases on Bedrock Records and some famous Belgium re-mixers such as Keatch (Dim Mak and Boysnoize Rec), Grimelock (Stainage Records) and Dutch producers Koper & Tin from Triplefire Music. Each applying their distinctive trade mark sound with quartz accuracy.

Since Guy J’s work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival, this new project is a very exciting prospect indeed. Lost & Found will operate as a sub-label of Bedrock, John Digweed’s influential and long-established mothership, which will mean that there will be a wealth of experience and knowledge behind the scene
