Italo-German Vincenzo returns to Anjunadeep with “Just Like Heaven”, the first single taken from his forthcoming fourth artist album “The Vanishing Years”. Having built his reputation over nearly two decades with timeless releases on iconic labels like Steve Bug’s Dessous and Anjunadeep itself, the album is shaping up to be an excellent reminder of Vincenzo’s impressive talent and longevity.

“Just Like Heaven” might be instantly recognisable to some as a cover of The Cure’s celebrated 1987 single. Vincenzo teams up once again with vocalist Minako Sasajima, who adds a delicate soul to Robert Smith’s romantic lyrics, which glide above a floating bass groove and falling synths. Full of emotion and colour, “Just Like Heaven” sees Vincenzo at the top of his game.

The first of two exciting remixes comes from another veteran of the German scene, Dave DK. A former resident at the legendary Panorama Bar, Dave’s recent releases on the excellent Pampa Records and Kompakt have been met with widespread acclaim, and he delivers another beauty here. Twisting the vocal almost beyond recognition, and layering it with dark melodies and left-field textures, Dave creates a memorable piece of atmospheric techno.

Swedish rising star HNNY is another artist on a hot streak thanks to recent EPs on Local Talk and Permanent Vacation. Taking an altogether different approach to Dave DK, HNNY’s remix is a raw and quirky slice of melodic house music, driven along by infectious bass stabs and twinkling melodies.

Spanish producer Thimble lands on Plano B armed with 4 new original cuts, and backed by 2 hot remixes.

The talented producer has recently released on the superb Nazca, and here lands with some gems for the wonderful and ever expanding Plano B.

Kicking things off, with 'Kalinka', a driving yet deep workout, with quirky bleepy line locks in to your mind and an undulating and pulsating bass meets cool cut-up afro style vocals. This deep and devastating gem will cause a fuss with its genre straddling approach. Hot!

Stepping up on remix duties first we find M.E.M.O. The DJ and live act's music has graced Mobilee, Bedrock and Yoshitoshi, and here lays down some filth. Classic bass line and percussion sets the tone with a timeless approach, before the melancholic yet mesmerising and uplifting breakdown really creates a dance floor moment. A fine reworking.

Label favourite and Brazilan boy Althoff delivers the second remix, and with his music gracing This and That and Dantze, he is certainly hot property. This remix is a deadly concoction of bass, looped vocals and a big infectious breakdown that will send any crowd wild. Big!

We are treated to three more original tracks, next being 'Black Rain' with its melodies meeting lots of percussion, 'Intuition' for those deeper moments and 'Lüguen' for some late night grooves.

Since Guy J’s work is always touched with a magic and emotion that few rival, this new project is a very exciting prospect indeed. Lost & Found will operate as a sub-label of Bedrock, John Digweed’s influential and long-established mothership, which will mean that there will be a wealth of experience and knowledge behind the scene

Mariano was born in 1981 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He has always been a fan of music and of different styles, such as AC/DC, Metallica, Iron Maiden, U2, Green Day, Depeche Mode and Moby, just to name a few. His deep love for electronic music started in 1999, firstly caught mostly by trance, but then he shifted his taste to progressive house, his favourite genre, and some tech-house and deep house. He was mainly influenced by Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, John Digweed and DJ Tarkan. Since the beginning of 2010 he has started to mix, appearing in some radioshows as guest, and from July he started his first radioshow at www.onlyclubradio.com.ar (every first Monday of each month at 23:00 hs GMT).
