Shattered Dreams

People often entangle themselves in lies and dishonesty, especially towards themselves and their loved ones, which can lead to deep sorrow. On one hand, we want to protect those close to us and avoid conflict; on the other hand, we get caught in a web of deceit. This contradiction is particularly tragic when the truth emerges. We lie to maintain harmony and spare feelings, but in doing so, we often cause greater pain. The resulting alienation and broken trust weigh heavily, leaving deep scars. Our attempts to sugarcoat reality or avoid problems typically end in disappointment and sadness. This contradictory nature of human behavior - the intent to do good through dishonesty and the inevitable consequence of harm - often leads us into an emotional abyss that is difficult to escape.
