Following the release of Dutch producer Djordje Petrovic aka Satori’s ‘In Between Worlds’ L.P on Underyourskin Records the imprint delivers a follow up remix package, welcoming an array of exciting producers in the world of electronic music. The Underyourskin imprint has been active since 2012 and is home to artist such as Krink, Jonas Saalbach, Schlepp Geist and Yapaac, and here we see it push on with some more intelligent and intriguing compositions.

Opening up the package is German producer Acid Pauli’s take on ‘The Whising Spell’ seeing him deliver his typically melodious and mind-bending style with sparse rhythms, arpeggio hooks and gradually unfolding synth sequences. The Micronaut’s ‘Days Without You’ remix follows and takes things into electronica realms with warbling square wave bass and broken beats layered under Miou Amadee’s soulful vocal styling’s.
Dutch duo Änimal then turn in a dropped tempo hypnotic rework of ‘Wasted feat Hugo’ next, laying the focus on subtly blooming pad lines, drawn out bass tones and bubbling percussive hits.
Berlin’s Mario Aureo switches things up into dubby realms, turning ‘We Don’t Exist’ into a dance floor workout with fluttering stab hits, a mesmeric synth hook and shuffled drum lines.
Kris Davis then rounds off the package with his interpretation of ‘Wasted feat Hugo’ delivering a charming bass driven take, employing dreamy bell chimes, elongated sub bass and expansive atmospherics.

Experiencing the Playa at night is the quintessential Burning Man experience. The untamed energy, the chaos, the sensory overload, the cacophony of sounds coming at you from all angles, all mixed with the extreme weather conditions the desert throws at you - it is pure pandemonium in the best sense of the word. It made me feel small and insignificant - in a good way. As my ego faded I more and more felt at one with my surroundings, ready to love and contribute.  As I started playing the bus pulled out of the camp. A surreal scene that reminded me of the Pied Piper unfolded - hordes of burners following the iconic heart into the open desert. But where I had anticipated the Robot Heart set to be a big "me" - moment, it felt quite like the opposite - just adding my small voice to this large and beautiful orchestra that is Burning Man. And that is how pretty much my entire first Burning Man experience went. And it's exactly this what makes it the best place in the world.

Danish artist Be Svendsen combines once more with the Crosstown Rebels crew, following on from his emphatic NU 'Man O To' remix, which landed in late February. The latest collaboration comes in the form of the new 'Twilight in Tankwa' EP, it comes with two original cuts as well as a remix from Berlin native Nico Stojan. Lasse Bruhn Svendsen ,as he's known to his friends and family, has been a proponent of refreshing electronic music since his emergence in 2014 and the work he started continues with yet another special record. The title track is a slow-winding groover that's coated with intricate melodic touches, while an engrossing atmosphere rotates around a punchy drum ensemble. Opener Circles is a tangle of dreamy pads and wistful vocals, with gleaming synths and undulating drums complementing Felix Raphael’s pensive lyrical incantations.
