About Marnyc:
Surrounded by animals, passionate about farming and living in the Normandy countryside (France), Marnyc is an atypical music producer. He includes and transforms sounds of nature into techno music. His goal is to show that “electronic music” is not incompatible with “rural”.
After signing his first two releases on Cenotaph Records, Marnyc will return soon with two EPs on the American label Emote Music. A release of 3 originals tracks will be followed by a remix EP with Whitespace and Extra Dry as remixers.
At the same time intense and thoughtful, Marnyc's music is both familiar and incredibly original.

Nothing predestined Nicolas Mary alias Marnyc to produced electronic music. He grew up in a farm in the heart of the Normandy countryside, where culture is considered as a city specificity.While he was studying in an agricultural engineering college, Marnyc met three fans of electronic music : Bazarov, Levanti and DrezB. Time passing and affinities strengthening, the quartet created a collective called 125CC. After a few events organized in Rouen, they decided to focus on music production,and  the evolution of the quality of their tracks is exponential.He finds a complementarity between proximity to nature, the hard work of the job and the daily involvement required and the electronic music, outlet and intellectual stimulant.

His goal is to show that “electronic music” is not incompatible with “rural”.
