One of her electronic projects that she is the most proud of is SABAT (a multidisciplinary event presenting feminine electronic music and art). In her sets - she loves to tell stories about emotions. She combines dreamy synths in the style of 80s with dark wave sounds, electropunk with industrial and BodyTech.

TEOCHAO PODCAST #025 - FLORA

After a few years hosting events, djying,  and exploring music production, based in Brussels and Argentinian born artist Elaina Vierce, has released two digital EP's during the past year, and is currently working on new material to release. 
For the occasion she brings us a mix full of the obscure textures that have become her signature sound over the years, combining rare releases , unreleased, fresh released, and to be released tracks that will soon see the light.

Which artists has influenced you the most? What new projects/releases with your participation are expected in the near future? Which artists/labels is more relevant to you now? What inspires you now to create music? What set-up do you use when creating music?

Lots of really good labels are constantly working to launch new artists, and sounds. When searching for new music, what I  find exciting and interesting  is that there are more and more collectives that release producers whose creativity and techniques are outstanding, but also, putting a special intention on diversifying the scene, an approach that is very necessary. The list is extensive, but you'll find a few in the descriptive tracklist of this podcast. 
Of course, this inspire me aswell when it comes to composing. At the moment I'm working on a new EP, alongside playing live sets -a constant creation- some projects in collaboration, and some by myself. As for set up, well, that changes often, but mainly drum machines, drum synth and effect pedals. 
I still play very rhythmic DJ sets as well, mostly techno and electro oriented, but i get exhilarated when I hear that distinctive element that makes a track or an artist unique, regardless the genre, so I can't help myself to throw in unexpected surprises sometimes when mixing.

@Illnurse enters the Techno world in 2007, after hearing Len Faki mixing in Gent, Belgium. He increases his musical culture until the year 2013, when the Mord label is launched, which will strongly inspire him. He then begins to produce a cold and snapping industrial techno, which will gradually lead him to a more EBM style. After a few years marked by productions strongly influenced by this music, his last EP released on @rawppl marks his return to a more classic, more groovy techno. An artist with multiple influences, who knows how to set a dancefloor on fire 🔥

Nuatt, producer and DJ born in Valparaíso, has felt an affinity for electronic music since his adolescence, beginning his exploration of sound at an early age singing and playing in electronic rock, nu metal, indie and post-punk bands. He later entered the electronic scene where he would continue his search for sound until the concrete start of this project during the last year, with the help of styles such as Ebm, Dark Techno, Industrial, and Hypnotic. Since then, it has been presented in several places of the underground scene in Santiago and Valparaíso, marked by a harsh, rough, corporeal sound, but always maintaining the line of mental travel and atmospheric hypnosis that characterizes it.

BIO:
MELANIA . is a Berlin based artist who’s musical adventure began by the end of 2014. Since then she regulary plays Europe-wide and well known clubs like Tresor, about:blank, IFZ, Arena Club or last but not least, Suicide Circus, where she is a frequent host of the widely known Rituals series. Moreover she’s a co-founder of the project VERZERRUNG, which is mainly focused on the Industrial/Wave party series at the the renowned Project Lab in Poznan (Poland) besides that she is a frequent resident at Hirscheneck in Basel (Switzerland).
Above all that, Melania is firmly focused on her own productions, which so far have been released on aufnahme+wiedergabe, Oraculo Records, Subsist Records, Labrynth and Round.
Her eclectic sets are mostly based on energetic Industrial, Techno, EBM, Electro, Rhytmic Noise and Experimental. Means heavy genres which she periodically combines with a creative touch of uplifting and emotional melodies/vocals or unexpected change of atmosphere. Her selection is completely focused on her feeling, thereby it stays beyond limitations to a specific genre.
This sound evokes what is beyond the words, reaches directly to the heart and unleashes the soul. Each of her sets is a story with a complex plot, keeping her audience in constant suspense and anticipation. Her unique vibe relies on unpredictability and constantly being on the move.
