Our podcast series continues, this month’s story is told by Shelley.

Originally from Bielefeld, Northern Germany, Shelley started her music journey back in 2019. Driven by hypnotic and impulsive rhythms, combined with dark and dissociative atmospheres she developed through the years her own style. Today, with precise attention to detail and a very delicate touch, she is sharing with us one of her stories.

‘’ I prefer playing groovy and hypnotic sounds with repeated loops, impulsive rhythms, dissociative trippy textures, and deep basslines! When the flow kicks, I start bouncing back and forth while mixing. That's how this mix came about “

With our next podcast we are happy to present our next dear friend from Wroclaw - Michał Macewicz - resident of the Ciało club, member of the Affekt Agency and the organizer of his own series of events "Selekcja Naturalna".

Michał Macewicz has been active as a DJ since 2006. He is a resident of the Ciało club in Wrocław. He has performed numerous times at festivals and events dedicated to electronic and experimental music. His sets are unpredictable, hypnotic and full of experiments. He does not follow trends, and the dense mixing style and selection of cool, emotional sounds influence the constant development of his unique style. It is impossible to list all the projects in which he actively participates. Michał is passionate about strong and perfect sound. He conducts training to expand awareness of sound and acoustics. From 2016 to 2023, one of the members of the SLAP collective, was responsible for providing unforgettable experiences through the excellent sound of the sound system and finding unique event venues. In 2022, he created the Sound Experience brand, where he designs audio installations in clubs and sophisticated places that focus on the best sound. At SE, he also works as an electronics technician servicing music equipment. Until 2023, a craftsman building pipe organs at Cynar Organy. His passion for electronic and organ music led him to collaborate and give concerts at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław. Recently, it has expanded its activities with the SOUND EXPERIENCE SOUNDSYSTEM rental and started teaching DJing at Instytut Dźwięku in which he shares his knowledge and experience with young adepts.

SPECTRIBE (Karol Rakowski)
For more than a decade VJ and multimedia director. He performed at all music festivals in Poland, cooperating with such bands as Skalpel, Miloop, Oszibarack, Igor Boxx. As a multimedia director, he co-created performances by Krystian Lupa, Jan Klata, Agata Duda-Gracz... At the Wrocław Multimedia Fountain, where he held the position of Artistic Director, he collaborated with Brian Eno. Co-creator of special effects for the film "Rabbit in Berlin", dir. Bartek Konopka, which was nominated for an Oscar.
Fascinated with electronic music for years. Founder of the SLAP group, passionate about strong and good sound and energetic dancer. His sets are stylishly heterogeneous and strongly reflect what sits in his head. BIO:
Dj, promoter, digger, vinyl lover for several years has been active on Warsaw scene. Co-founder of dype collective responsible for bringing to the capital artists such as Levon Vincent, Objekt, Efdemin, Antigone, Eric Cloutier, Vril, Zenker Brothers, Matrixxman among many others. Responsible for Dimensions Festival Launch Party Warsaw which resulted in performances at one of the best European festivals. His musical vision was presented in the most recognizable clubs in Poland and several cult places abroad. In his sets he tries not to limit himself to one genre, oscillating somewhere between house and techno. Deep / Dub / Detroit / Acid. Keep it dype.
