Vinyl lover and part of DUEL collective based in Warsaw. Despite short time on the scene, he is regularly booked by the most recognizable clubs in Poland. Raw, deep and hypnotic these are the sounds that identify him.

Parisian – Benales has been honing his skills since the end of the 90s with impeccable taste and steady determination. As an avid record collector, vinyl only DJ and enthusiast of Techno and House – his DJ sets and tracks combine the raw, dark and deep elements of these musical forms with a firm nod in the direction of Detroit. His talent allows him to put himself in many clubs in Europe like Tresor, Rex Club, Le sucre, The Gate (Georgia)... but also as a regular guest of Concrete when it’s not rare to find Benales surrounded by guest of solid reputation like DVS1, Zadig, Surgeon, Steve Bicknell, Dj Pete, James Ruskin. Fascinated by Techno and coldness of electronic music, he released some EP’s and remixes on Sino (Technasia Label), and notably “Elements part 1 & part 2” have marked his spot in the international scene. Over the years, he had several releases on outstanding labels like KEY Vinyl (Freddy K label), Suburban Avenue, Analog Solutions, Knotweed, Diffuse Reality and many more to follow.

En una época de artistas techno que han surgido de las modas pasajeras, aún existen verdaderos profetas del sonido más purista de este estilo musical. Este es el caso de R0w3n, un creyente sin fisuras de una actitud y de una filosofía que apuesta por un sonido vanguardista que respetan los principios y las raíces del TECHNO con mayúsculas.

R0w3n creció escuchando referentes como Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, hasta que descubrió la electrónica más underground y comenzó a escuchar música de artistas más complejos. Aunque en su León natal este tipo de sonido era marginal, R0w3n se abrazó a él para empaparse de su filosofía, asistiendo a todas las salas que programaban aquel estilo musical. En una de esas fiestas cayó rendido ante el sonido de un artista que desconocía por entonces, James Ruskin sirvió de catalizador para una pasión que perdura hasta nuestros días.

A partir de entonces comenzó a consumir compulsivamente los trabajos de artistas como Oscar Mulero, Surgeon, Loktibrada, Christian Wünsch, Exium y Jeff Mills. Su primera experiencia en directo detrás de una mesa de mezclas fue en un pueblecito de León en una alocada rave que terminó clausurada por la Guardia Civil, en mitad de unas bodegas pinchando a vinilo.

Desde entonces ha sido protagonista en las cabinas de Studio 54 (León), Sala Perfil Club (Astorga), La Vaca (Ponferrada),  Caño Malasaña (León) Platform 7 (Valladolid), Dance Guerrilla by Phase.Ctv (Madrid) y algunas raves de las que guarda un gran recuerdo.

Su estilo puede definirse como Techno sin ninguna añadidura, intuitivo y metódico en su faceta de productor. Cuando pincha desconecta totalmente del mundo real, con una conexión mental y cercana con el público. Sus planes para el futuro seguir aprendiendo y disfrutando al máximo cada día.

DJ and promoter living in Poznań. He supported artists such as Randomer, Nur Jaber, Larix, Concept of Thrill, Bas Mooy, Ansome, Stenny, Blush Response, Cncpt, Ayarcana, Perc, Michał Jabłoński, Lars Huismann, Martyn Hare, Vertical Spectrum, Szmer and Phase Fatale.
Present on the scene since 2011. Apart from Poznań, you could also hear him in many more important places, incl. Warsaw, Szczecin, Gdańsk, Kraków and Katowice. Focused primarily on a wide range of techno sounds. Years of practice and dozens of events played made his musical selection very restrictive. As he says, he is only interested in top-quality techno, he doesn't compromise in this respect. His recipe for a successful set is a journey through electronic depths, while maintaining maximum dance floor potential.
