Volte-Face, otherwise known as Casper Clark is a key figure in London’s adventurous electronic music scene. We are glad to welcome Casper to our podcasts series with an eclectic dj set, which we managed to capture at Daydreamers day event on the 26th of July in Red Market. Casper runs BleeD events, working alongside the likes of Blackest Ever Black, PAN, L.I.E.S. and Unsound, since 2010 he has been promoting some of the most innovative electronic music acts on the planet, as well as running a regular Rinse FM show and 22tracks.com experimental playlist. We are very happy to have met him and delighted for being able to present this musical journey to your ears.

Hans started off his career in 2006 when he began to promote his own party in Glasgow called 'Sleaze' where he booked and played alongside the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Funk D' Void, Chloe, Radio Slave, Johannes Heil, Extrawelt, Phil Keiran, Len Faki & Par Grindvik! At the start of 2007, Hans started learning about music production and making his own tracks. He now boasts releases on many recognised labels including Electric Deluxe, Perc Trax, Viva Music, Soma, Synewave, Harthouse, 8 Sided Dice, Analytictrail aswell as starting his own label Sleaze Records. Over the years Hans' tracks have gained regular support & plays from some of the biggest names in Techno, including Richie Hawtin, Dubfire, Adam Beyer, Chris Liebing, Len Faki, Ben Klock, Speedy J, Laurent Garnier, Stephan Bodzin, Joris Voorn and many more! 

Hard work and dedication has ensured that Sleaze Records is now placed firmly as one of the best techno labels in the UK, if not the world. Hans is also making a big impact as a travelling DJ, with impressive DJ sets at the infamous Berghain in Berlin, the Slam Tent at Scotland's biggest festival T In The Park, Melkweg in Amsterdam and many other clubs & festivals across the globe. At only 25 years old and already with so much experience as a DJ, Producer & Label Manager, the future looks bright for Hans Bouffmyhre.

"If you ever heard the name Michel Isorinne, it was probably in some kind of connection with his involvement in the two man group D.Å.R.F.D.H.S. (@darfdhs)together with Jonas Rönnberg (@varg).

And if you heard his or read his name unaffiliated to D.Å.R.F.D.H.S. it was most likely from his vinyl debut this year on the Dutch label Field Records with the experimental ambient affair dubbed "Recollections of Forgotten Dreams".

Emboya recently made a style switch to deep driving techno. With years of experience in de darkest of warehouse parties, he is known to play long and dynamic sets bringing the crowd from moody swamps of abstract beats to pumping floorfillers with an excellent feeling for rhythm an melody.

Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, HueHelix) was born in Osaka, and then first contacted with Electronic Music in the early 90s.

In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno, House and Electro Music.

As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, Innervate, Silent Steps, Brood Audio, to name but a few.

In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as a platform for new generation of electronic sound which following words can appropriately describe: driving, hypnotic, atmospheric, emotional, groovy, funky… and any other aspects that rock from brain to the dance floor under the following statement:

It exists in order to inspire the world…

Also, Ryuji kicked off another brand new label called 'HueHelix / HHX' as a new platform, which discloses something new, only represented by HueHelix, together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.

In 2012, Ryuji launched 'Local Sound Network Digital Solutions / LSNDS' series in need of discovering and introducing wider range of electronic music, aiming at dropping unique audio output while it’s hot. Couple years of playing and collecting vinyl records has had a great impact on his mixing skills and his remarkable selection. He played at the legendary Tresor in Berlin, Instytut Festival, Audioriver and also in best clubs in Poland. Within the Mødule event series, he hosted parties with artist such as: Zadig, UVB, Henning Baer, P.e.a.r.l. or Setaoc Mass. Club savage with no fear of any dancefloor.

Vinyl and it’s sound has always been the love of the Wroclaw artist Aksamit. In her compositions, you can find hypnotic sounds of ambient, deep techno and tribal.
A Wrocław DJ, a resident at Projekt Pralnia, a founder of Affekt and
Velvet Vortex, is definitely rising talent in the polish techno scene. Her love of vinyl led her to the Berlin club Tresor, in which she played during the iconic Klubnacht & All You Need Is Ears. Currently, she has performed in most Polish clubs and festivals - Wisłoujście, Revive, Instytut, LAS Festival, Kaskada Festival and Audioriver Festival. She has also performed outside of Poland - Germany, Spain, Andorra, Denmark, Ireland and the UK. She recently won the Polish Club Stage award in the Munoludy plebiscite in the Discovery of the Year 2018 category. 
During her short 3-year history with techno music, she had the honour of playing alongside such artists as Dasha Rush, Ellen Allien, Chris Liebing, Keith Carnal, Neel, Takaaki Itoh, Perc, Monoloc, Tadeo, Introversion, Luigi Tozzi, Claudio, PRC, Korridor or Refracted.

BIO:
Born and bred in Tricity - northern Poland, Natt has been producing and DJ-ing since 2009 being a strong representative of seaside drum and bass scene. In 2018 he cofouned DREN project (alongside with Akton) what resulted in moving him towards more experimental sound scapes. 
Natt is constantly searching and developing his style as a producer and being avid enthusiast of Black Metal you can clearly hear this influence being incorporated into his broken beat and heavy bass musical structures.

RTMTS is a Polish DJ and promoter based in Berlin. A resident of the Warsaw club 999. Co-creator and former member of the Revive collective. It is difficult to define his style because he is efficient at moving between many genres combining different forms. However, he believes that he feels best in unconventional broken, raw techno varieties.
