"Ether, or æther, was the mysterious substance once thought to suffuse the universe and be the medium that propagated light (and radio waves once they were discovered). Before that, it was the material that suffused the realm of the Gods. So, to say that something is in the ether means that it is something being communicated from place to place; it has no precise location, just as a radio broadcast can be heard from many different places. "

Aäg, a DJ and producer from Porto who sees music as a way to evoke emotions. Music has become a fundamental part of his life and it was in the electronic music where he found his world to explore and create the most varied soundscapes. His sound aesthetics range from ambiental and introspective spacial tunes to the most frenetic and darker rhythms of the dance floors.
His early love for raves exposed him to another side of electronic music that captivated him - the culture. This passion for the scene fueled a strong desire to explore and learn even more to be able to contribute to it in his own way. In 2022, he joined Analytical Convenience, a collective of various artists and friends who share a common vision and willingness to collaborate and contribute to the scene. Since then, he has been involved in various projects and events that promote art and culture in Porto.

Analytical Convenience is a music collective and label based in Porto. 
It brings together like-minded artists united by a shared passion for techno and electronic music.

As a label, Analytical Convenience’s catalogue includes several EP and VA releases, showcasing original works from its core members and collaborators.

Beyond the studio, the collective has curated a range of events—from club nights to music workshops and multidisciplinary experiences that fuse sound and visual arts, most notably through their signature series, Headroom Events.
