For this installment we have Berlin based DJ and label owner Dim Light with a mix that throws you deep into the harsh and sinister darkness.

Dim Light is a record label owner and DJ based in Berlin.

Being a music nerd since his early youth, he got into listening to electronic music around 20 years ago. After several years of practicing all by himself he started releasing online mixes around 2011.

In 2015 he launched Nemorous Records together with Anja Zaube and after that played a few selected gigs at events like Apathy at Grießmühle, Tokonoma in Kassel oder Smallroom in Bielefeld, sharing the decks with artists like Talker and Oake.

In 2017 he finally started his own brainchild Voidance Records, so far releasing 5 EPs and 2 tapes and hosting 2 showcases in 2019. Voidance Records deals with the darkest strains of the electronic music genre, hosting new as well as established artists like Meer, Chafik Chennouf&Katsunori Sawa and Llimbs, to name but a few.

Dim Light‘s musical influences range from all different genres like Ambient, Black Metal, Electroacoustic music or Techno, which also reflects in his sets.

Let’s face the irrationality of things, the lack of meaning of an alienating life, the limits of human condition; and let’s embrace this condition with a new inner quiet, shifting the focus on the beauty around and within us, with perception as a source of inspiration and personal improvement. The chase of a chimerical meaning keeps still making perfectly sense for us as transient individuals. ‘Facing The Absurd’ is a dark collection of absurdist theories written through the meeting of modular noise, post-industrial and bass music-infused techno explorations, with a multi-tempo improvisational approach and subtle tributes to extreme music scenes.

[BIO]: 
KTLH is an artist from Kraków, Poland, present on the electronic music scene as a musician, producer and teacher. He started in early 2000's with experimental electronic projects (all of them were duos: Network 333, C-men and Węgiel) and some black metal bands (21:37, Medieval Plague, Lightless Chambers, Veadtuck). From 2015 KTLH began to perform live-acts, which are based on improvisation and the Eco's open text idea, mostly on the techno scene. The music of KTLH is filled with a structural and aleatoric approach. This activity resulted in the creation of the NIC collective, made with Libront and Pastwa. Their main activity is the cycle of musical events under the name of the group. NIC plays rather harsh and industrial influenced music, which is mostly related to techno, with some avant-garde, even classical or soundart influences. In parallel he plays in the band called Syrena, with Kinetikk. Syrena is focused on creating captivating musical journeys, based on using classical and historical methods combined with synthesized, singed and guitar played sounds.
