Oscar Mulero is back home with this intense four tracker, giving a twist to his sound, running into harsher territories, using distortion wisely, going uptempo and focusing directly on those dancing.

Unveiling of reality opens with shuffled elements, obsessive sequences and punchy drum work, assymetrical notes fight in the arrangement going back and forth, attacking every neuronal process.

Out of field is pulsating and spacey, a few elemts swinging together in a wise arrangement.

Wandering nowhere returns to grey and granular terrain, distorted synth lines, super low bass workout, sharpened hats and percussions and darkness as leitmotiv.

Unnoticed absence goes jazzy with unquantised elements, liquid filtered synths,a nd again shuffled beats. A few elements well seasoned to make an ideal mixing tool.

Exium can be considered with no doubt pioneers in the spanish techno scene, almost two decades of devotion, passion and work on behalf of what we know as serious and militant music. In their vast career the have released countless vinyls in labels from all over the globe and have spreaded their live sets throught the most respected clubs and festivals all over the place. 

They decide what their pulsations are, can be minimalistic, complex, broken, layered or tooly and precisely, this is the case in this four tracker.

Noncellular life opens fire, and obsessive effected synth line lies over a profound kick and is slowly filled with percussive layers, drums comes in and out while the main hook persists and changes in timbre and texture. A genuine mixing tool. 

Inner mind relies on reverberated toms and sharp percussive elements with the only aid of occasional white noise sweeps, as always a dynamic arrangement made things busy.

On the flip side Inmune response is based on a linear raw sequence soon followed by distorted semi industrial layers while Host range gives us the broken beat dose that they master since ages. Over the complex beats succesive washes and drones fly over, evoquing darkness and pressure.

No jokes in this slice of plastic, aimed for the proper selectors out there.

Acclaimed Berlin-based techno producer, Pris, returns with the ‘Sulphur City’ EP – the second release on his new label Empathy, released on 29 November 2019. 
Following his debut EP on Empathy – the label and mixed media project he co-runs with Deejay Astral – in Spring 2019 with ‘New Babylon’ EP, Pris shows why he is such an exciting and respected producer, drawing on many different influences. 
Opening with the exhilarating, glitchy ‘Discovery’ which Pris describes as “a step into the unknown, combined with a sense of excitement and wonder.” ‘Soft Viral’ leads on perfectly. “A fun little track, jittery and growling. It’s nice stripping things back to get the most out of each element” 
Title track, ‘Sulphur City’, is for Pris, “very visual and inspired by a trip to Shanghai where I had a vision of an uninhabited technologically advanced city due to the climate crisis, a ride through a city succumb to nature” 
‘Twilight Falls’ shows a different side to Pris’s techno. “I have a soft spot for this. I wanted to make a somewhat uplifting track, envisioning the feeling of escaping city life during the twilight hours in a futuristic world where little natural beauty remains. But what there is, gives hope.” 
Early ‘Sulphur City’ EP supporters include Daniel Avery, Leon Vynehall, Ben UFO, Svreca, Mary Anne Hobbs, Wata Igarashi, Henning Baer, Pangaea, Rrose, and Cassegrain. 

Pris said: “The EP is a step beyond what I’ve made in the past. It draws from all aspects of my influences and experiences since first getting into music. I wanted this EP to show the side to techno that I see and want to share: colourful, energetic and painting a picture of where I’m at musically and my interpretation of what techno can be. I realised that I enjoy playing tracks with breaks in and decided to play around with them a bit myself for this EP as an experiment on how to build energy.

Subosc Ltd is glad to announce a new vinyl release. Guido Camino,
aka Mental Resonance, presents four original cuts under his Forest
on Stasys identity.
“Astral Projection” presents a cosmonautical voyage with a strong
progression that constantly builds up. The rarefied atmosphere
included in the track, features an emblematic ritualism that is
interlaced with natural waves and layers.

“Expedition” follows a photonic pumping approach, featuring non-
trivial and sparse drum patterns. The functional approach entails

complex hallucinogenic stimulations.
On the flip side, “Lumina” proposes an explorative story with sparking
elements that resonate and overlap with the different melodic layers,
producing a pleasing hypnotic effect.
“Talisman” closes the package with a decompressive, magical
journey, that carries the listener into an imaginative dream-like
dimension made of natural landscapes.
The EP will be available as a vinyl only release, on a strictly limited
pressing.

ANAØH is pleased to announce its first physical release.

These have been complicated times for everyone, and that is why the whole process of elaboration has taken on a special meaning. The label has had the opportunity to put much more love in this project, with all the work done from a distance, from their homes. That has allowed the label to find themselves spiritually strong and eager to share this first physical release with you.

63 digital releases have passed and finally we have the first in physical format.
Mexican artist Fixon has been very active in recent months with his releases on Illegan Alien, and now on ANAØH, his own platform that he shares with Dig-it. Here he presents this translucent 10" Vinyl limited edition called "Star Signs"

On the A Side we can find 2 original tracks:

"Star Signs" is the track that gives its name to the release, powerful inspired by showers of stars, hypnotically driven techno.

"Walk On Mars" is a short sound passage, a spacewalk, set by a drone environment.

On the B Side we find the remix of the Spanish artist 30drop, who has done a great job with the track "Star Signs" which has deconstructed it to turn it into a musical path full of energy and elegance.
