The artistic roots of Cafe de la Jungle lie in electronic music, a fluid traversin through abundance of rhythms, sounds, and subtle impressions in order to reveal and celebrate the primal instincts of the listener. Symbolic mythologies of the outer and inner world carefully craft sonic rituals in a space where modernity meets indigenous traditions in hypnotic trippy soundscapes. Dancing with Cicadas debut EP delivers elegantly synthetic narration, amplified by the modular wires. Entrenched in the grooves of the jungle, every track mirrors a different conceptual and esthetic journey into our transcendental connection to the earth. . The recording emerged from a powerful urge to create a universe of never-ending journeys between movement of dancing spirits and the mathematical language of sound.

Engaging your inner listener-creator, you are invited to bring to life your own dreams guided by the sounds we create in honor of the development of your spirit. We combine electronics and folklore with live subcultural soundscapes using various ethnic instruments, voice and anything else that helps you dive deeper into acoustic and
spiritual experience. Through this platform we explore mystical dreamlike states with a sense of futurism in it.

It is our absolute pleasure to announce the first compilation on QEONE.

This wonderful collection of tracks is really unique as all pieces are based on one concept which is completely sound design oriented. The idea behind this release series is to have one material or substance which will then be interpreted by the artists. For this very first compilation we chose the material Wood.

In the end the artists will also reveal some specific techniques which they used for the production of each track to transform this project also into a skill sharing platform for followers to learn from and get inspired. It offers a great opportunity to get insight into various approaches to one topic.

Cafe de la Jungle produced a minimal influenced dancefloor tool ‚QMMF‘ which has a crystal clear yet organic sound aesthetic. The high wooden textures and tones give this piece an amazing tension which sucks the listener right into it.

Cafe de la Jungle builds worlds through sound—dense, hypnotic, and alive with movement. Every track is a pulse, a shifting landscape where rhythm and texture collide, guided by Tomasz K Zajac’s instinct for the unexpected. His productions blur the line between the organic and the electronic, drawing from primal grooves, shamanic energy, and cutting-edge sound design. 
On Ginso, his latest release, he sharpens his vision—six tracks that twist, swell, and shapeshift in unpredictable ways. Out on Polygonia’s always reliable QEONE imprint, the record thrives in a space where rhythm is fluid, structure is loose, and movement is inevitable.

“Flying Nimbus” drifts in like a hallucination—light on its feet but rich in detail, its melody curling and dissolving like smoke. PREMIERE: Cafe de la Jungle - Flying Nimbus [QEONE]

The river was flowing rapidly. The rain from the night before had meant that there was little room for error as they floated on down through the rushing water. The noise was bellowing all around and the rough smacking of waves against the boat was almost frightening at times.

They could see the dense greenery of the jungle all around them on either side as they careered down the rapids, narrowly avoiding the rocks and the dense fog of white as the water surged beneath them.

The sun beamed down from above upon the expedition.

It was hard to tell where they were anymore...

Cafe de la Jungle has become well known for his eclectic take on percussive electronic music which sees him experiment with rhythm and structure in innovative ways. His music is intelligent and hypnotic often leaving you quizzical of its whereabouts or direction - we say this in the best way.

This new record on QEONE is special. A true heads down, lock in affair.

Umwelt allies with Midnight Shift for the release of the mini LP Superior Life Forms, featuring six devastating tracks on the vinyl release and an exclusive number seven for the digital release.
Known for his take no prisoners approach to searing hardware-based broken electro with the spirit of 90s French rave parties where he participated in, Umwelt himself is founder of labels such as Fundata, New Flesh Records and Rave or Die, and a diehard scene activist, pushing the resistance for the past twenty years and more.
A dark, sci-fi bleak horror theme runs through his prolific cosmos of productions and Superior Life Forms continues the narrative. It’s a tri-invasion attack between man, machine and foreign sentient beings. From the snarling Shadow Entity creeping from the sidelines to the ominous sound of the day of reckoning depicted on title track, Superior Life Forms, Umwelt has full control of the genre – telling a story with tightly programmed sounds, deadly textural atmospherics and an uneasy, foreboding tension of a world signalling its end.
