"The second outing on Incidental Sonics has landed, bringing aboard a new face with it. Within, Constrict’s Excess has been given the meditative bassweight treatment by Eusebeia - a rising star who has been turning a lot of heads of late.
Excess uses a cold and harsh atmosphere to lay its heavy beats upon, with a moody combo of sci-fi SFX and industrial sounds bringing palpable tension to the intro. With the introduction of a warped sub and a solitary 808 bass, the track powers through an epic progression over its 6 minute duration with plenty of heady peaks and desolate troughs.
Eusebeia’s Moderation Mix brings with it a totally distinct attitude, trading huge breakbeats for refined percussion. The hypnotic arrangement is underpinned by a totally immersive sub bass, certain to bring a uniquely cerebral vibe to any sound system sessions it touches.
