After a great debut on VA released by ANGLS, Emily Jeanne - one of the faces behind AVIAN - returns with the first solo album on the cult label Semantica.

BIO:
Drawing on formative years performing during her studies in Vietnam & later in her hometown of Ghent, Emily Jeanne arrives on the European circuit as one of Belgium’s brightest exports. As a DJ, Jeanne channels the spirit of the foundational UK Techno labels that first developed the stripped back, high energy sound that provides the backbone for her sets; but remains dedicated to showcasing esoteric picks from her collection - binding more overtly floor-friendly records with leftfield selections to build forceful performances that focus on atmosphere & rhythmic congruence. A love of contemporary outlets pushing a more low slung, hypnotic take on the genre & a keen ear for experimental sound design has guided Jeanne’s artistic choices over the years, helping to develop a wide reaching, yet streamlined sonic aesthetic that finds a sweet spot between puristic & progressive.
