Metempsychosis-Records founder End Train remixes live techno band Elektro Guzzi's "Affumicato" into a warehouse-ready track.

In a time when live performances have come to a halt because of Covid-19 and music and human connections have almost disappeared, End Train reached out to three live bands to ask them to remix some of their past gems... Despite the physical distance, the virtual collaboration works as a glue between two worlds: End Train's RMXD Vol 1. EP brings together the alternative style of live music from Ninos Du Brasil, Elektro Guzzi and Sudden Axis Disorder and plugs that straight into the techno realm with dancefloor-oriented stomping remixes. A sign that despite the moments of shared hardship, the global electronic music scene is alive and willing to move forward united.

The release has already been supported by Ancient Methods, Giant Swan, Headless Horseman, Rommek, Theo Nasa, Daria Kolosova, Maceo Plex, Francois X, Kwartz and more.

Ninos Du Brasil - Condenado Por Un Idioma Desconhecido (End Train Remix) [premiere]

The Brvtalist is pleased to premiere a new remix from End Train. The London-based producer returns to Metempsychosis for a fantastic RMXD Vol. 1 EP where the artist puts his dance floor oriented sound to different bands and projects from the across the spectrum. The tracks are remixes by Ninos Du Brasil, Elektro Guzzi and S.A.D., which is our premiere today. “She’s Gone” is a killer post-punk piece originally released on Oraculo Records and is now reborn for any club setting. Acclaimed Berlin-based techno producer, Pris, returns with the ‘Sulphur City’ EP – the second release on his new label Empathy, released on 29 November 2019. 
Following his debut EP on Empathy – the label and mixed media project he co-runs with Deejay Astral – in Spring 2019 with ‘New Babylon’ EP, Pris shows why he is such an exciting and respected producer, drawing on many different influences. 
Opening with the exhilarating, glitchy ‘Discovery’ which Pris describes as “a step into the unknown, combined with a sense of excitement and wonder.” ‘Soft Viral’ leads on perfectly. “A fun little track, jittery and growling. It’s nice stripping things back to get the most out of each element” 
Title track, ‘Sulphur City’, is for Pris, “very visual and inspired by a trip to Shanghai where I had a vision of an uninhabited technologically advanced city due to the climate crisis, a ride through a city succumb to nature” 
‘Twilight Falls’ shows a different side to Pris’s techno. “I have a soft spot for this. I wanted to make a somewhat uplifting track, envisioning the feeling of escaping city life during the twilight hours in a futuristic world where little natural beauty remains. But what there is, gives hope.” 
Early ‘Sulphur City’ EP supporters include Daniel Avery, Leon Vynehall, Ben UFO, Svreca, Mary Anne Hobbs, Wata Igarashi, Henning Baer, Pangaea, Rrose, and Cassegrain. 

Pris said: “The EP is a step beyond what I’ve made in the past. It draws from all aspects of my influences and experiences since first getting into music. I wanted this EP to show the side to techno that I see and want to share: colourful, energetic and painting a picture of where I’m at musically and my interpretation of what techno can be. I realised that I enjoy playing tracks with breaks in and decided to play around with them a bit myself for this EP as an experiment on how to build energy.

Subosc Ltd is glad to announce a new vinyl release. Guido Camino,
aka Mental Resonance, presents four original cuts under his Forest
on Stasys identity.
“Astral Projection” presents a cosmonautical voyage with a strong
progression that constantly builds up. The rarefied atmosphere
included in the track, features an emblematic ritualism that is
interlaced with natural waves and layers.

“Expedition” follows a photonic pumping approach, featuring non-
trivial and sparse drum patterns. The functional approach entails

complex hallucinogenic stimulations.
On the flip side, “Lumina” proposes an explorative story with sparking
elements that resonate and overlap with the different melodic layers,
producing a pleasing hypnotic effect.
“Talisman” closes the package with a decompressive, magical
journey, that carries the listener into an imaginative dream-like
dimension made of natural landscapes.
The EP will be available as a vinyl only release, on a strictly limited
pressing.
