Separated into three volumes, the comp brings together some of the best across the techno, industrial and experimental spectrums. Over the last decade, Gegen has become a bastion of freedom and diversity and their label celebrates this sonically as well. Today we present a crushing, rhythmic piece from Mar/US ft. Junction Records carries on its path of uniting club and experimental music by introducing the tenth EP of label owner Cool Tiger. 1991 Tape 2 opens the EP with a raw, organic and playful jam for the dancefloor, inspired by the feeling of tribal belonging. Following up, Club Paradise is the EP’s centrepiece, a rollercoaster of emotions acting as a catharsis. On the flip-side, Innuendo is a darker cut calling for forbidden desires. Weird Dancer closes the EP with a taste of sci-fi breakbeats.

“Aerial” shows the hypnotic side of the record. Deep sub frequencies with a brilliant sound.
On the B side, "Orbiter" is a spacey, dynamic and compelling track with its metallic bass sequences surrounded by constant bleeps akin to a satellite around the Earth.
“Electric Body” finalizes the EP with a continuous synth pattern accompanied by a solid electric rhythm to make your body move.”

Umwelt allies with Midnight Shift for the release of the mini LP Superior Life Forms, featuring six devastating tracks on the vinyl release and an exclusive number seven for the digital release.
Known for his take no prisoners approach to searing hardware-based broken electro with the spirit of 90s French rave parties where he participated in, Umwelt himself is founder of labels such as Fundata, New Flesh Records and Rave or Die, and a diehard scene activist, pushing the resistance for the past twenty years and more.
A dark, sci-fi bleak horror theme runs through his prolific cosmos of productions and Superior Life Forms continues the narrative. It’s a tri-invasion attack between man, machine and foreign sentient beings. From the snarling Shadow Entity creeping from the sidelines to the ominous sound of the day of reckoning depicted on title track, Superior Life Forms, Umwelt has full control of the genre – telling a story with tightly programmed sounds, deadly textural atmospherics and an uneasy, foreboding tension of a world signalling its end.
