Fixed Rhythms is proud to welcome back to its roster one of their closest allies in sonic liberation, New York City’s Mali Mase, this time under his new techno alias MAL.E. Fixed Rhythms released Mali's "Travel International EP" under his beloved Sweater On Polo moniker. This go-around it's time to crank up the BPMs and stomp. This is serious techno but not for the serious techno chin-scratchers...calling all dance-floor freedom finders...hear the call and answer with your feet!

The quality of Stockholm LTD’s 2016 output has been hard to top, with acclaimed full length ‘Isle of Real’ from label boss Pär Grindvik in May, followed by a split EP from Grindvik and SLOBODA label head Nihad Tule in September.

And the Stockholm born, Berlin­based imprint is right back with another lethal VA, ‘A Number of Thoughts’. Their 39th release combines contributions from Dutchmen Doka, Sinfol and Octual plus Belgian newcomer Phara, as well as Grindvik himself.

Doka’s ‘Hidden’ layers staggering, tribal percussion under sinister robotic formants. Label boss Grindvik follows up with The Order, where jagged waves of ice build and swell to a dramatic breakdown, to be broken against warm chords and deep harmonies.

On the flipside, Phara turns out 6 minutes of thundering, stuttering techno, while Sinfol and Octual round off the EP with ‘Signals’, as syncopated toms fire under breathy moans.

Oscar Mulero’s own Warm Up label goes 50 releases old and to celebrate, there is an special release planned: A double remixes vinyl pack as well as an extended digital release including the four previously only vinyl available Pattern Series.

The remix pack will have revisions of the original Oscar’s works by the likes of: Silent Servant, Cassegrain, Kanding Ray, Donatto Dozzy, Shlømo and Chevel. Each one getting the essence of the originals but adding their very personal touch to the pack. As a result all kinds of techno flavors are represented, from the harsh and rude to the liquid and floaty.

If you weren’t lucky enough to get the translucent limited vinyl pattern series, now you have the chance of having them in your digital crate via the online version of the release.

Slam return on their @Soma Records label, with the Quiet Riot EP.

2020 has been a very prolific year for the Scottish duo, delivering their 4th EP for the label so far this year. All their firing trademark sounds and intricacies remain intact in this 3 track hard-hitting release.

"Severed" opens with hard, industrial elements as the relentless percussion fires off, but in true Slam style the vibe remains hypnotic and engaging. "Motor" drifts into more Birmingham-esq territory with twitch and modulating sequences leading the way again straight, jacked up percussion. Intensifying things on the last track, "Electrical" turns up the drive and delivers tension with white knuckle percussive workouts, thundering kicks and dynamic synths.

@anaohrecords is a musical label based in Mexico, founded and ran by Fixon and Dig-it, artists with a long history in the techno scene. The project was born in 2016 in order to expose music of the highest quality, with conceptual launches and delicate sound designs that allow the sound of natural landscapes, through sound landscapes.
