He’s inspired by a large variety of genres which can be heard in his releases and throughout his sets. His sets include uncommon build-ups and overwhelming breakdowns composed with Ambient, Electro, Breakbeat, Techno, Acid, Industrial, Rave, Early Trance & Hardcore. All these elements are merged to create an unexcelled synergy on the dancefloor, which arouses everlasting energy.

Last month his new ‘Repetitive Behavior’ EP came out on @ObscuurRecords. This EP contains four tracks that represent everyday struggles. Mysterious and uplifting synths lead by pounding drums and rhythms is what describes this EP best. Falhaber shows that he is capable of exploring multiple styles with this powerful release.

Our solution is to make primetime material on a series on the label that is dedicated purely to release quality in Digital format. So this is our way to release and show music that will be only in Digital format with supreme quality.
The first release comes from AWDHA, an artist that did his debut on the label, and showed us his skills and got played all over the world, this is a release (like all the X series) that deserves surely a Vinyl release, but we wanted to give a big value making it the very first issue of the series.

The title track "Dalaran" is a twisted tale of 90s acid reminiscent techno featuring a blade-like arpeggiated bassline and modern drum work that conjures images of vampiric party goers draped in black in a warehouse after hours. On the flip “Black Rock Depths" doesn't stray far away from the vampiresque vibe either with a driving bassline, masterful synth work and a welcoming dark mood.

Acclaimed Berlin-based techno producer, Pris, returns with the ‘Sulphur City’ EP – the second release on his new label Empathy, released on 29 November 2019. 
Following his debut EP on Empathy – the label and mixed media project he co-runs with Deejay Astral – in Spring 2019 with ‘New Babylon’ EP, Pris shows why he is such an exciting and respected producer, drawing on many different influences. 
Opening with the exhilarating, glitchy ‘Discovery’ which Pris describes as “a step into the unknown, combined with a sense of excitement and wonder.” ‘Soft Viral’ leads on perfectly. “A fun little track, jittery and growling. It’s nice stripping things back to get the most out of each element” 
Title track, ‘Sulphur City’, is for Pris, “very visual and inspired by a trip to Shanghai where I had a vision of an uninhabited technologically advanced city due to the climate crisis, a ride through a city succumb to nature” 
‘Twilight Falls’ shows a different side to Pris’s techno. “I have a soft spot for this. I wanted to make a somewhat uplifting track, envisioning the feeling of escaping city life during the twilight hours in a futuristic world where little natural beauty remains. But what there is, gives hope.” 
Early ‘Sulphur City’ EP supporters include Daniel Avery, Leon Vynehall, Ben UFO, Svreca, Mary Anne Hobbs, Wata Igarashi, Henning Baer, Pangaea, Rrose, and Cassegrain. 

Pris said: “The EP is a step beyond what I’ve made in the past. It draws from all aspects of my influences and experiences since first getting into music. I wanted this EP to show the side to techno that I see and want to share: colourful, energetic and painting a picture of where I’m at musically and my interpretation of what techno can be. I realised that I enjoy playing tracks with breaks in and decided to play around with them a bit myself for this EP as an experiment on how to build energy.

Subosc Ltd is glad to announce a new vinyl release. Guido Camino,
aka Mental Resonance, presents four original cuts under his Forest
on Stasys identity.
“Astral Projection” presents a cosmonautical voyage with a strong
progression that constantly builds up. The rarefied atmosphere
included in the track, features an emblematic ritualism that is
interlaced with natural waves and layers.

“Expedition” follows a photonic pumping approach, featuring non-
trivial and sparse drum patterns. The functional approach entails

complex hallucinogenic stimulations.
On the flip side, “Lumina” proposes an explorative story with sparking
elements that resonate and overlap with the different melodic layers,
producing a pleasing hypnotic effect.
“Talisman” closes the package with a decompressive, magical
journey, that carries the listener into an imaginative dream-like

Produced using nothing but vintage analog equipment : Roland Space Echo, Echoplex, Korg tape delay, vintage signal processors, noise generators, Sequential Circuits 8 bit samplers & numerous analog synthesizers - this project goes back to the heady days of Berlin-based proto dub/techno variations, recorded and produced in Detroit and Chicago. Three of the worlds most important Techno cities colliding to form a whole that perfectly bridges the gap between The Motor City's emotive arrangements, The Windy city's percussive robustness, and Berlin's life-altering Basic Channel continuum.

Empyrean

Hailing from Brooklyn, New York DESNA represents the next generation of modern techno, making her mark in the music industry. 

The New York native just released her first EP of 2020 titled 'Jugar' on @set_about_music, featuring a collaboration with Bulgarian artist Metodi Hristov on the 'Call If Found' record. The EP has elements of ominous energy yet, permeates mystical elements of euphoric techno with its haunting baselines and moments of 'shut your eyes and just dance.'

Soaring into quite the baseline, with "Rabbet" DESNA shows us how deep she can get with her productions. Quirky soundscapes, anticipating high-hats and a heavy drop make for the perfect recipe of this record, giving us just a taste of what DESNA is all about.
