Rebekah makes a long-awaited return to her Elements imprint with five fierce originals entitled ‘Ghost Stories’ this August.
Undoubtedly one of the most diligent and in demand techno artists today, in recent years the Birmingham born, Berlin-based producer has made appearances on respected labels like Mord, Soma, and Perc Trax. Her much admired Elements imprint has also risen to become a key platform for quality talent, releasing music from artists like Lag, JoeFarr, Storb, Axel Picodot, and more.
Even though she’s contributed numerous single tracks and remixes to Elements over the years, Rebekah’s last full release on the label was its inaugural outing in 2014. She now makes her highly anticipated return with a forward thinking five tracker designed to rip dancefloors apart.
‘Ghost Stories (intro)’ is a hauntingly, electrifying cut featuring powerful, growling modulations and alarming expressions before moving into the uncompromising ‘Ghost Stories’ which features pounding kicks, menacing builds and slashing synths that sweep you off your feet. Terror filled sonics, commanding highs and energetic fx then take the focus in the unyielding ‘Another Life’.
‘Darkness My Old Friend’ is a ravey, warehouse cut featuring entrancing leads, storming oscillations and resounding percussion while ‘Are You Worthy’ rounds off Rebekah’s compelling return to her label with forceful resonations and sinister, machine-like tones.
Rebekah’s ‘Ghost Stories’ drops on Elements on 28th August 2020.

Inspired by the sounds emerging from Wrocław's cellars, MIKO started her adventure with electronic music a few years ago. The musical taste of the young artist currently living in Warsaw has been shaped by the now defunct club Das Lokal and Berlin, to which she always eagerly returns and draws new inspirations, including releases from labels such as: Voxnox Records, Clergy, Code is Law, Molekul or ARTS. So far, she has had the opportunity to present her skills during performances in the best clubs in Poland, such as: Transformator, Sfinks700, Luzztro, Drugi Dom, Schron or Cialo. MIKO in his music is constantly evolving and tries to combine whole techno era in it, drawing stimuli from futuristic and hypnotic sound, while mixing them with a modern techno wave. Thanks to the constant willingness to discover and move her borders and imaginations, her sets played live are a mixture of deep emotions that strongly affect those present on the dance floor.

Belgian techno powerhouse Amelie Lens returns with her third release on her celebrated imprint LENSKE. Hot on the heels of an explosive mix CD on fabric last November, her four-hour Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 in April (the longest one since 1997) as well as a hit lockdown livestream, she delivers a hard-hitting EP entitled ‘Higher’ featuring her usual propensity for dark sounds and haunting vocals. Due to the current circumstances, she has unfortunately had to put on hold a summer full of festival appearances at the likes of Timewarp, Awakenings, Primavera Sound, Junction 2, Kappa Future, Sonus, and an extended tour with her Exhale curated parties with her own stage at Tomorrowland and OFFSonar, to name a few. This EP showcases Lens’ sound and energy while we wait to dance together again. 

On the A side we have the euphoric title track, in which melodic synthwork and familiar vocal inflections echo into the far reaches of a cosmic dance floor. Next is ‘L’Obscurite’, which shocks with an hypnotic pulse, combining an appetite for the mystifying with sonic bleeps and booms. On the B side features an emotive sub-bass rework of ‘Higher’ by Berlin’s techno boyband FJAAK, swindling a multi-layered rave version. For the hungry ravers, this will be a fiery treat for the ears.
