Serbian-born DJ/Producer Lag was globe trotting from Los Angeles to Berlin, with his last pre-Covid gig at Berghain a little over a year ago. Meanwhile in quarantine, apart from discovering his newfound talent in hand modeling (as he alleges), Lag contributes to the interconnectedness of our global techno community by hosting a weekly Twitch show on his channel, CommissarLag, where he gives feedback to producers on their submitted tracks. Lag has a versatile, wide ranging warehouse sound that we love. His latest release, “Katran” (“tar” in Serbian), is a hefty dance track with a no-BS breakbeat attitude, elements of grunge, and a dirty bassline. Heavy claps set with delay give this track a sweaty feel. This nine-minute journey is filled with head-banging, punk energy whose rebounds can barely be contained. Low-frequency sounds resembling motorcycle revs haunt the track with intense drive. 

Prior to the pandemic Lag was preparing for his third US tour. Missing his sets almost as much as his jokes, Dirty Epic looks forward to welcoming Lag back to the LA underground.

Obsession is a mind disturbance produced by a fixed idea, which with tenacious persistence assails the mind and dominates and monopolises the intellectual attention.

Genesis P-Orridge dedicated their life obsessively to artistic creation and transgression which s/he used as tools to fight against what is established in today’s Western society.

This track is my tribute to their figure and artistic legacy. And a way of understanding art which unfortunately is in disuse. I have also been lucky enough to have Speedy J contribute his vision with a remix of the track, creating an exceptional wall of sound piece.

Marking its 50th release, Skryptöm records’ label head, Electric Rescue, has invited a list of exceptional artists that have inspired and shaped the label’s sound since day one, to contribute to this anniversary compilation. With this project, Electric Rescue aims to cover all aspects of techno as expressed by the early pioneers like Scan X to the new generation’s talent like K.U.S.S. 

Gathering Generations represents all the sounds that someone could listen to on Skryptom since its first release, from Deep to Banging Techno, from Ambient to Electro. Rrose, Umwelt, Amotik, Anechoic are some of the artists who took on remix duties on tracks taken from Electric Rescue’s recent Esquisse du Nouveau Monde album while this fantastic package gets completed with five special collaborations by Electric Rescue with Zadig, Scan X, Joton, Dyspal, and KUSS. Collectively, these 12  tracks constitute Skryptom’s representative sound throughout the years.

Spanish artist @notzing delivers a twelve-track album on Koryu Budu titled "Ingeniería Onírica" LP 

​Los ingenieros oníricos se sirven de los artefactos para poder manipular su conciencia y diseñar mundos oníricos por los que viajar. De origen incierto, los artefactos se encuentran dispersos entre planos y han intentado ser rediseñados en nuestro mundo mediante el uso de frecuencias, convirtiéndose en elementos de estudio plenamente funcionales para el ingeniero onírico del plano físico. La correcta correlación de uso entre artefactos permite al onironauta saltar entre los diferentes estados de la experiencia para la formación de universos. 

El artefacto "Cordón," de plata y presente en todos los planos, sirve como nexo entre el cuerpo físico y la consciencia materializada. A menudo, debido al influjo de otro artefacto, o a la inestabilidad en el canal creado por correlación, es capaz de obligar a la regresión, clausurando el canal de comunicación. Existe un artefacto Cordón que une cada una de las conciencias proyectadas con sus correspondientes cuerpos así como del cuerpo físico. Se desconoce que ocurre en caso de fisión.
