For the 38th episode of our podcast series, we are delighted to welcome an artist who is for us one of the most important pioneers on the scene. Founder of the Female: Pressure platform and working to introduce the values of brotherhood into the clubber community since 1998, we are honored to present here an extraordinary Hypnotic Techno set from the very talented DJ and producer Electric Indigo.

Hosting her set now is particularly meaningful to us, as she was playing our last 'real event' before the covid restrictions began.
It's now been 15 months since our 'Eclectique x Art Bei Ton' event at :// About Blank (13.02.20) and we haven't been able to work fully since. A lot of nostalgia, but still a lot of hope for a better future - we look forward to seeing you on the dance floor very soon!

Electric Indigo works as a musician, composer and DJ. Her name stands for the intelligent interpretation of techno and electronic music.
She started her DJ career in 1989 in Vienna and worked at the legendary Hard Wax record store in Berlin from 1993 to 1996. 

In 1998, she created female:pressure, the international database for female, non-binary and transgender artists in the fields of electronic music and digital arts which got an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2009. 2012 she received the 'oustanding artist award' in the category Computer Music from the Austrian Ministry for Arts and Culture.

She makes music for concert spaces, clubs and occasionally for stage plays and short films. In her compositions and live performances, she emphasizes the spatial-temporal placement of subtly elaborated sounds and structures, often generated from speech recordings. Electric Indigo shuttles between Vienna and Berlin.

Warok imprint owner DJ and producer Clotur is one of the important figures on the current French and Tunisian techno scene.

Inspired by the percussive rhythms and atmospheric textures, he developed his own style, mixing hypnotic layers and catchy bassline.

In his discography, we find several releases on labels such as The Gods Planet, End of Perception, Northalssen records, One Instrument. As well as his latest and vinyl releases on his label such as Dimensions Doors, Ponorogo 1, Ponorogo 2 and 3.

DJ, Producer and Curator of Hidden, Deepak Sharma has been entrenched within techno for over a decade. Tough, raw and gritty describe the man, his music and label.
Perseverance is another word synonymous with Deepak Sharma: an unrelenting passion for music and sharing his sound through a belief so intense, his soul pours out and bears itself within each release and DJ set. Known for a cerebral approach to music, he demonstrates his ethos that DJing is about creating a moment, often through taking crowds on a hypnotic journey and building energy, with a room as one towards a higher peak. While DJing is his calling, his label also requires the utmost care through each carefully curated offering, slowly and steadily building a catalog greater than most accomplishing the rare feat of forty-four releases and counting.
It comes to no surprise then, that he has appeared with Ben Klock, Len Faki, Ben Sims, Oscar Mulero, DVS1, Bas Mooy, SNTS, Phase, Steffi, Steve Bicknell, Adriana Lopez, Anthony Parasole, Claro Intelecto, The Advent, Pysk, Tadeo, Xhin, Developer, Audio Injection, Abdulla Rashim, Dustin Zahn, Stef Mendesidis, Deniro, Black Asteroid, Phil Moffa, I/Y, Delta Funktionen, Paul Birken, Savas Pascalides, A Mochi, Unkle Fon, JC Laurent, Yuuki Sakai.
Prior to lockdown, word was continuing to travel fast about his DJ abilities with both his vinyl only sets at Tresor, closing for SNTS in Los Angeles and opening for Oscar Mulero and Adriana Lopez at Basement in New York.

Jeroen van der Want also known as RON L, is a Dutch DJ based in Gouda, The Netherlands and a resident of the Rotterdam-based organization Embodiment. 

After years of actively experiencing the Dutch techno scene, Jeroen was becoming more and more drawn to that world by the long-lasting feelings of fulfilment and belonging that he experienced after every event. His love and passion for the music made him take the next steps into starting his journey as a DJ.

Inspired by artists like Speedy J, Luke Slater, Function, and labels like Dynamic Reflection, Pole Group and Illegal Alien Records, RON L has crafted a powerful blend of driving, loopy and hypnotic sounds, which is often best experienced during the peak time of the night. Nowadays, Jeroen is using the Pioneer DDJ-1000 controller, where he has the chance to work with 3 or 4 decks and express himself even better through complex intense atmospheres.
So far Jeroen had the chance to play for the Amsterdam-based Orphic crew, Frameworks in his hometown Gouda and Embodiment in Rotterdam alongside Rene Wise and Somewhen. 

To Jeroen being a resident of Embodiment means that he is in a trust-worthy environment, where mutual respect is a ground rule, and he feels supported to grow musically and push his limits, which in turn will allow him to give back to the community by sharing his knowledge. In the future, he hopes to get the chance to perform more all around the Netherlands, but also internationally.
