This bunch of real PSYCHO THRILL Cologne Techno "Phuture Classics", played at a SUBSTANZ AC allnighter @ Musikbunker Aachen/ GER on carnival Sunday, March 7th, 2016 (Vinyl Only like always and finally now here available in '23 remastered WAV-file 44_1 KHz 16 Bit quality!).

Where the original sound recording has been now remastered here at its very best by Cologne's finest Bob Humid, the mix itself gives a clear impression of the concept of Psycho Thrill Cologne in its 33rd year (2024) of existence, representing still Techno & House without any boundaries since 1991. No tracklist available here yet ... but people who know do know! 

This mix (live recorded by Thorsten Hoffmann/ TRANSITION AC) has been completely HiDrive-remastered and reshaped by Cologne's finest BOB HUMID / Pic by Diego Biurrun.

BIO:
Ryuji Takeuchi (Local Sound Network / LSN, Hue Helix) was born in Osaka and first came into contact with electronic music in the early 90s. In the late 90s, he moved to the United States, where he discovered Techno, House and Electro Music. As soon as he got back, he started to DJ at several locations and eventually learned to produce at the same time. After that, he released on such labels as: LK Rec, Arms, Mastertraxx, FK Rec, Innervate, Silent Steps, Brood Audio.
 
In 2011, Ryuji started his own imprint called 'Local Sound Network / LSN' as a platform for new generation of electronic sound. A few years after he kicked off another brand new label called 'Hue Helix / HHX' as a new platform, which discloses something new, only represented by Hue Helix, together with Go Hiyama, Tomohiko Sagae and Kazuya Kawakami, in order to push quality music with global standard from where sun rises.

For the last 25 years, Luke Slater has been a master in sound design. Throughout his career he’s operated under several different guises, with an extensive back catalogue that’s widely regarded as one of techno’s greatest. 

He started out in the early 90s releasing seminal works on labels like Peacefrog, and in 2006 he started putting out music via his own label Mote Evolver, yet his output hasn’t slowed down since then: the best example of this is probably last year’s killer 'Arc Angel' LP he released as Planetary Assault Systems via Ostgut Ton.

Slater is equally lauded as a DJ. Through our history he’s become something of a Farringdon staple, and his clinical precision has helped make his Room Two sets highly anticipated among the techno contingent of our family.

He reminded us why he’s become so integral to our space at his last appearance with us. Following on from Terry Francis and Black Asteroid’s bewildering live show, Slater stepped up to close out the room with a dramatic and transcendent 3-hour closing.

As we invite him to return to his adopted Room Two home this coming Saturday, we uncovered the recording from last year in anticipation.

DASHA RUSH is the best example of sophistication, perfectionism and beautiful execution in the scenario of electronic music. DJ, performer and producer on labels such as Raster-Noton and her own Fullpanda imprint. Marco Shuttle
Operating in the abstract regions of techno and coming from a visual background, Marco Shuttle has carved out his own little niche in recent years. Releasing on outlets such as Time To Express, The Bunker and Clone, Marco Shuttle's journeying..

Marco Shuttle has always achieved a lot with a little, and that is the singular aesthetic that stands him apart. His cinematic techno sounds are unusually organic: they build pressure in subtle ways and his meticulous grooves never fail to take listeners on a trip to somewhere new and exciting. As a result of this, he has become a firm favourite amongst the techno cognoscenti and has released on some of the most revered labels of the day, from famed New York club The Bunker’s new label to Peter van Hoesen’s untouchable Time To Express via Clone SOS and his regular home, Eerie Records.
Italian born but London based, where he also gained his MA in Fashion at St Martin’s. What ties his creative work together is a focus on abstract yet organic texture and the same thing defines his tightly woven DJ sets from fabric to Berghain to Labyrinth in Japan. His eclectic cerebral sound takes cues from jazz and musique concrete as much as it does from acid house and Detroit techno.
Early breakout records like his 'The Vox Attitude' have been followed up with great abstract outings on Clone and remixes for Third Side, whilst the future promises a collaboration with compatriot and fellow producer and friend Donato Dozzy as Anxur. It will land on Eerie, Marco’s own well-formed label and is sure to be another supple and succulent offering that proves Marco Shuttle to be a uniquely minded techno troubadour.
