Blasha & Allatt are honorary Mancunian natives and co-founders and residents of the infamous Meat Free parties, of which are hailed as one of the wildest techno raves in the UK. The duo are revered in their local scene as much as they are championed by many of the artists and peers they have played alongside. With a symbiotic energy behind the decks whether at the helm at Manchester’s White Hotel, holding it down in Fabric or cruising into the early hours at Bret, Blasha and Allatt bring it every time.

Focusing on a hard-groove sound their sets are a relentless force that have blessed dancefloors at clubs such as FOLD, Berghain, Radion and festivals such as Freerotation, WHOLE and Dimensions to name a few. 

Never content to not push the boundaries of their music and of the scene, 2022  saw the launch of  Frixxxion - a new inclusive space for queer techno raving in the heart of Manchester’s underground that has been welcomed by locals and out-of-towners.

“I first encountered Toru upon exiting a Tokyo DJ both one evening. He was waiting patiently to pass me a CD of his work along with a polite, hand-written note.
The tracks had a uniqueness and an appealing futuristic feel, and thus a few of them became regular fixtures in my DJ sets” ~ Ø [Phase]

It was through this humble approach and initial exposure that Japanese native Toru Katsuta came also to the attention of Charlie M Duff (AKA Matrixxman) and his music gained further broadcasting (featuring in various podcasts and DJ performances). This eventually lead to an invitation in 2021 to remix for the fast-rising Alarico on Matrixxman’s The Grid label.

In 2022 Katsuta's futuristic sound debuted on Ø [Phase]’s Modwerks label with the 6 track ‘Phenomena’ EP (garnering more support from the likes of Luke Slater and Dave Clarke). He’s now set to follow that up with the complimentary ‘Interconnecta’ EP - Due out on Modwerks on June 23rd and featuring 2 mixes from Ø [Phase].

Ø Phase [ Token ] UK

UK Based Techno producer best known by his work on the Belgium based Token Records and who's style ranges from gritty minimal techno to Detroit influenced material. His debut “Module Overload” was released on London’s Lost/Cosmic records in 2000, and was followed by a string of productions for London's Surface/Inceptive Records and Ben Sims Ingoma imprint. The move to Token came in 2007, he shortly after began DJing professionally and has since performed at parties across the globe. His continued works have seen constant support throughout the techno world and have featured in CD mixes by Robert Hood, François Kevorkian and Dave Clarke amongst others…

Alongside his production work Phase is also a Mastering engineer and on/off artwork designer. Starting out at London’s prestigious Sony Music/Whitfield Street Studios, he has cut records for numerous underground dance acts as well as working on projects for mainstream artists.

Roberto (real name: Rob Kirkaldy) is a London based Techno producer, DJ and Remixer. Considered to be one of the most exciting new UK Techno artists in recent years, he combines influences from Detroit to create his own sound unique to the UK.

Roman Lindau has been a main stay of the Berlin techno scene for many years, based in the home of European techno; he has become a regular on the circuit with his solo performances, and as part of the Fachwerk and Second State stable, performing at many of the label showcases across Europe. Roman’s DJ sets move seamlessly between the hard edged techno sound to raw house sounds, these are the sets that he has become synonymous for, and which have taken him around Europe and further a field over the past decade.

Here they are together at Tresor in June, closing the infamous Berlin club
