Low Prophet, otherwise known as "The King of Cursed Rap", is the embodiment of what lies on the dark side of the human psyche. Originally a Horrorcore artist, Low Prophet soon became dissatisfied with being labeled "just another juggalo rapper" and set out to make his own mark forming a genre that better suites his unique style and vision known as "Cursed Rap". Over the course of 6+ years Low Prophet has been a part of, and in some cases helped build, several groups and unofficial labels based out of Ogden UT. before signing his first major contract with Caspian Records in 2016. Earning a reputation not only as one of the most elite rhymesmiths in the city, if not the state, but also as a talented graphic designer. With his intense work ethic, monster-like tenacity, and a legion of devoted fans, Low Prophet truly is a force to be reckoned with. Whether he's wearing a mask or the iconic red contacts he's become known for, Low Prophet is the definition of "darkness meets reality" and he's just getting started.

After riding with the same crew for nearly 15 years, Kutt Calhoun knew he needed to make a change. It was late 2014 when he decided that his time with Tech N9ne’s Strange Music — the company he helped build into an independent powerhouse — had run its course. The Kansas City rapper decided it was time to step out on his own to launch his new record label Black Gold Entertainment. The creation of BGE would allow Calhoun to establish himself as a star in his own right.

 J.R.O was ft'd on KEYLINE MAGAZINE as well as KLM MIXTAPE 4 hosted by national wig for his single "Hold it down" 

J.R.O has also been recognized by mainstream news outlets such as KFOR NEWS,FOX 25, and TELEMUNDO for his political themed song based on the school budget cuts and was interviewed on all 3 networks showing his support towards his community and students. 

In 2018 The single "Just Go" was ft'd on Wild 104.9's Traffic Mix with Dj diverse.

In 2019, J.R.O was interviewed and premiered his newest Single "Claro que Si" 
on Wild 104.9's Latin segment with Rica Suave.
