A pure and spiritual being; whose essence is communicated through their immense track selection and ability to curate. 'Zion' embarks on a journey led by the drum, synthesizing a ritualistic ceremony with a trajectory towards celebration.

A deeply moving story, enriched with an empirical perspective. Ellie communicates this story via the vehicle of fantasy, creating an enthralling new environment on Plantera; the cave of Zion.

"I had heard whispers of a surreal existence of Zion on Plantera. A place where people are synced with the ritualistic nature of the drum. Recreating ceremonies that our ancestors would draw people together with. Dancing with their spirits and the impenetrable bind between the community. 

Carelessly, a lonely path was one I had taken these last few years, but something sparked within me that it was time to find my people. 

I kept this glimmer of hope in my mind as I wander aimlessly amongst the sand and sun for days. There are no nights on this side of Plantera. 

A mound slowly appears in the distance. As I near closer it begins to block the sun, giving me relief from the piercing light. As my eyes adjust, I edge forward and feel a cool sharp sensation.

A sheer glisten catches my eye and dances into the distance. She feels familiar. I aimlessly follow her through the depths of these shallow rock caves. Feeling this light had given me a hope for something. 

I halt and see if my eyes can adjust to what lies ahead. She notices the halt and glides towards me, floating on the cold misty air. I reach to touch her, to see if she was real or if my imagination had taken over my vision, and she whisked herself away. 

I feel the warmth of her trail - a spirit of Plantera. An auburn shade begins to climb the wall of rock surrounding me. Harmonies play with my eardrums and my heart starts to open with relief, a sign of life. Yet, so much more was ahead than I ever could have imagined. 

As she disappears through the cave walls above, I allow the light and sounds to guide me. A warm glaze reveals a deep opening at the foot of the cave. I see hazily through the veil; fire, surrounded by other beings. Beings like me. 

Music beats from the heart of the fire, her flames change from white to orange. Embodiment; it was as if the rhythm of flame controlled each beat. Never had I witnessed such conscious movement before.  

The whispers of Zion were true. 

As I try to enter through the veil, a resistance holds me back. The veil starts to solidify and won’t allow me through. Heads begin to turn towards me, making their way to where I stood. I stay firmly put, unsure as to what they were about to do. 

Hands permeate the veil, beckoning me to take hold. After a few moments of hesitation; I remember how after such solitude, I found trust. 

I reach forward and tender, soft hands slowly pull me forward. Kind and loving faces look upon me as if we were lost friends aiming to
 find our way back to each other. But now we had found home. We all smile and walk towards the fire together, holding onto one another in a warm embrace. 

I thought about the spirit, and whether she had brought us all here one by one, knowing that this is where our people were. Bringing us back to Zion, a place where you find your community after being lost for so long. We all join together in dance and celebration, being led by the beat of the drum. 

I had heard the whispers of a surreal existence of Zion on Plantera. I now know how much more this was than the tales told, as no-one can understand a feeling until they have felt it. A gift that your heart can give to you and others. And when it is shared, it grows amongst people and can save you more than you think." - @monokedj

Solace Space is an Irish party and mix series showcasing progressive and euphoric imprints of house and trance, reminiscent of sounds found on the early nineties dancefloors. 

Curated by Fhionn and Cashper, the project initially focused on a mix series that highlighted some of their favourite up-and-coming and established artists from across the globe. In recent months, they have invited some of these favourites to Dublin for some very special headline shows. 
  
Their aim through Solace Space is to provide an environment that is both safe, inviting and energising, as well as being respectful of the historical values of electronic dance music. The crowd at their parties is diverse from music lovers, preachers and followers.
