After travelling the world together many times with countless vacation soundtracks and exchanging thousands of songs throughout our friendship, this was the first time sharing the dj booth with my favorite travel companion @pacayapacaya at @klunkerkranich's Wohnzimmer. Our extended world-racoon-sloth-journey turned out to become a pretty colourful 6-hrs trip... visiting various countries, genres, decades and tempos without taking too much care about transitions, but finally playing some „dj-unfriendly“ gems ;) ... 99 songs from our hearts into your ears! Lotte Ahoi’s sound is a melting pot of music selected from various decades and gathered from around the world, beautifully mixed up in a cocktail she calls funkumbiafrorientropical Slothdisco.
Inspired by producers interpreting their own and others’ musical roots, she is breaking clichés by expanding genres and blending them to a new and unique sound. Colorful tunes mirror her fascination for multicultural music, bringing happiness and warmth to her listeners.
