luis " bigbeat " sanchez born on december  2 1965 in the south bronx nyc is a dj producer and musician. The moniker and nickname bigbeat came from louie being a drummer in the junior high school years, and the collection of breakbeat records in the late 70's. In those days my dad and grandma owned a record store right on soundview and manor avenues in the bronx off westchester called the music hall. we had disco dance and latin music .at 14 i had allready strarted collecting 12 inch records when boys my age were just buying 45's. Later i would start working in the shop thru my high school and college and dj at house partys on weekends.by the mid 80's tho i got my big break at some small club called the waterfall off kingsbridge in the bronx. there i became the regular dj fri and sat nights and would dj til 5 6 sometimes by 8am in the morning that to me helped me become somewhat of a stronger dj with more experimentation output. the crowd began small and by late 88 and 89 it was packed i would get the leftover crowds coming from la mirage i rememberd.now forward into time some 23 years later and everything has changed but i remain the same but i always keep up with the times especially on the tech age we live today . I still mix music but my venues are limited, that's because i play only for 4 hours and go i really dont have to prove anything i am my own franchise and name brand but to all fans and listeners of the past and present i will always keep the hapiness and music flow going and im here in soundcloud to share with you thanks...
