Sydenham continues to pursue his unwavering ambitions both behind the decks and in the studio. Now he ups the the ante with this three-volume collection of DJ edits, which features special edits by renowned DJs from the international house and techno world. Editopia is a direct reflection of Sydenham's strong sense of individuality, and the artistry and intuitive talent imbued in every track on this highly anticipated series.

Ibadan's Editopia Series comprises of thirteen hidden house gems edited to perfection in a style true to Ibadan, a label that has withstood the test of time with its signature sound aesthetic that is at once historic, contemporary and futuristic. Highlights include edits of classic tracks by Basement Jaxx, Carl Craig, Technasia and Todd Terry.

In the spirit of the Ibadan family, Sydenham's brother, Ibadan-born, Joel Sydenham channels the raw energy of the music into the enigmatic and poignant artwork gracing the cover of this release. The imagery features iconic and animalistic elements that seem to connect with our consciousness, like an unknown yet familiar story.

Madhouse Records returns on the 1st June (Traxsource Exclusive) / 14th June with a typically soulladen
house EP from Sebb Junior, entitled ‘Move It’ and featuring three original tracks from the
French Native.

Paris’s Sebb Junior is a relatively new name to most with only a handful of material under his belt via the
likes of San Francisco’s Salted Music headed up my Miguel Migs and Old School Department. Here we
see Sebb takes a leap in his career by joining Kerri Chandler’s long running Madhouse imprint, home to
the likes of Voyeur, Tony Lionni, Behling & Simpson and Nacho Marco.

Title cut move opens things up and sees Junior deliver a jazzy house number built around a rhythmic
New Jersey swing, fluttering Rhodes lines and dubby vocal murmurs making it a perfect fit for the
Madhouse catalogue.

Following is ‘Don’t Stop’ which lays its focus on emotive piano progressions, soaring pad lines and
classically sampled vocal chops. Closing piece ‘Let You Go’ then rounds things off on a deeper tip,
dropping the tempo and bringing smooth synth flourishes, raw drum lines and infectious R&B style
vocal hooks into the limelight.

The legendary Kerri Chandler is once again raising the stakes with his latest compilation, Kaoz Theory,out on his brand new label of the same name. The compilation features big tunes from newer names in house music such as Voyeur and Lola Purple as well as bangers from certified legends including Chez Damier, Matthias Tanzmann, Seth Troxler and The Martinez Brothers. Also featuring on the compilation is Dutch outfit Detroit Swindle, who step up with a smooth, groove-laden yet chunky house cut guaranteed to make you ball out in the club. 
Kaoz Theory is a new imprint from Kerri, with conceptual roots that run back through his love of club culture. Having already witnessed him lay down two of the most delightful hours of music at DC-10 in a back to back with Black Coffee, we can certainly recommend catching one of his sets this summer. This October will see Kerri Chandler’s Madhouse imprint offer up a ten-track compilation in the shape of ‘Madhouse Amsterdam 2015’.

The Madhouse imprint was launched in 1992 by Kerri Chandler and since its inception has been a driving force in the world of underground house having released material from the likes of Dennis Ferrer, Roy Ayers, Tony Lionni and of course the label-founder himself. Here we see the label, two decades deep, continue its momentum with more hard-hitting house cuts.

Across the eleven tracks we hear the New Jersey house aficionado deliver a slew of exciting new talent via his long running imprint, with established contemporary house producer Washerman delivering fresh original material. Plus a string of newcomers such as W&O Tracks Rhythm Operator
teaming up with Blueshift for ‘Perculating Nights’,  Amsterdam’s Ghetto Chords with ‘Preacher Boy’, Greek producer Sek who delivers the rough and ready ‘Hide & Kiss’ and London’s Jason Lee Ward’ with ‘Lost In The Crowd’ plus many more.

The ‘Madhouse Amsterdam 2015’ compilation is out on Madhouse Records 9th October 2015.
