In the Spring of 1979 Noah Trundle drags his mom Olive, his brother Jo Jo and his brother’s girlfriend Misty Strand to spread the ashes of his grandfather over the old farm where Olive grew up. They wind up back in Noah’s pickup heading for home amid the bluebonnets in the sunset.

I was born in Austin, Texas on December 22, 1947, graduated McCallum High School in 1966 and Southwest Texas State University in 1971 with a BA in History. I’ve written several plays. “Hamlet the Dane”, a comedy, received a full production at Capitol City Playhouse in 1991. “Chanteuse”, a musical, had two complete productions (The Silver Spur Theater in Salado, 2011, and The City Theatre in Austin, 2012) and a CD and an ASCAPlus Award in 2011. My next musical, “Bluebonnet Road” has a CD released in 2020. A stage production of it was put on hold due to COVID-19. I am also a singer/songwriter, a poet and a novelist with five books available at Amazon.com, one of which is called “Primitive Life”.
