While rave culture becomes a bigger thing of institutionalization, its worth a look how party concepts are constituted beside the thriving medialisation. H stands exactly for this movement of resistent subculture. Kicking off things 10 years ago in the catacombs of Paris, you can find him and his crew conquering Hamburgs hidden places by free partys and etablishing more and more in club culture all around. There is not more to say then: you can feel the not-matching-doesnt-care-tired-of-your-shit mode in this twisted set as a pure journey through tribal ways of body and mind expression. H personal message:

DMD has been a part of my Music Adventure since 2017 and still counts as one of my favorite gathering. There is something about this Gang that speaks to me beyond words and logic. Some kind of Silly Stupid Serious No Fuck Given Maximum Caring kind of vibe that I've learned to enjoy to the fullest. 

When it comes to Music, DMD has never failed to entertain and being a part of the catalogue is to me a true achievement. Somehow, the Serious/Not Serious taste of this Festival has become a part of how I play and translates into all my mixes. It is where I first understood the intent of bringing positive energy to the dancefloor and that though has never left me. 

This Podcast was actually much harder to record than it seems because I wanted it to reflect the fully spontaneous vibe that catches me every time I play the Sunday Morning slot. Never really prepared, always fully enjoyed, Gritty, Serious Not so Serious. After something close to a 100 take, I finally managed to jump into spacetime right back at the last Edition and express something "close enough" to what DMD really means to me, and it means a lot. I wish you all some fun listening to this piece of audio right between chaos and control, it has been recorded for you and thanks to you.

▻ When you started djing, you played harder and faster music, but now you have a completely different style – how did it come about?
 
I didn’t like that the whole Techno Scene became super dark and serious in the last years – I want to create a positive counterpart with my music and spread good vibes. I also change my music style a lot, because I don’t want to limit myself to just one genre and celebrate the diversity of electronic music.
 
▻ What connects you with the collective "Tatort" and the party series "PERRAS"?
 
Tatort is a collective/ label-to-be with focus on trancy, faster and colourful music.
I am part of the organizing team myself, mostly the booking part and our focus is mainly the zeitgeist of colorful trance music. PERRAS is a party series I founded with three other DJ friends: We want to create a space for queer visibility and more (musical) diversity.
 
▻ You played at Harry Klein at the "last rave", how was the atmosphere and how did you feel when you played there for the very last time?
 
The atmosphere was super intense: on the one hand very euphoric, with many people celebrating my sound. On the other hand, a certain mood of doom has resonated, which also made me very emotional at the end. It was a very big honor to play that night.
 
▻ In the meantime you have your gigs here and there. Do you follow that because you just enjoy it or where do you see yourself later?
 
I really enjoy playing gigs and travel around a lot. At the moment I see it as a privileged hobby: Sometimes I’m super exhausted and want to quit everything, sometimes I really see myself investing more time and energy. Let’s just see and look how everything turns out.
 
▻ You recently moved from Augsburg to Berlin. - Was it because of the music or because of private reasons?
 
▻ I always wanted to live in Berlin because I really love the city and was in the mood for a big city vibe – so it was only for private reasons. I think it’s more different to be a DJ in Berlin than in Munich or Augsburg, because the competition there is much bigger. On the other hand, there are also more possibilities.
