Hej people,
this gig at Velvet Soup was wonderful, because of the wonderful crowd that came out this morning, but it also may have been one of the most chaotic gigs ever :D It started with my live computer failing on me, so I had to quickly copy the tracks of my set onto my USB so I could play the Set I prepared on CDJs. "Luckily" the stage had half an hour delay, because the power went out earlier due to the insanely heavy rain, so I had time to do so. With the Allen & Heath Mixer there, that doesn't have Reverb and doesnt send the Microphone Input to the DJ Monitors, it wasn't possible to add any live vocals. I wouldn't have much time to sing anyway, because I had to help set up the record players for the lovely Sutsches while playing. Didn't really matter though because the recording failed as well anyway. I rerecorded my set though (without the one time the CDJ got briefly unpowered), so I could still share all this new tunes with you guys <3 It includes some new collabs with @sydkasd , @ueberhaupt_ausserdem and @monolink and remixes for @temple-tears, @hannesbieger @guylalibertedj @soulofzoo and @kon-faber & Javid

It's taken us a little while to fully process what happened on Sunday but now we've had the time to recover from the madness that is Fusion Festival (you too, we hope??) we're realising just how much this gig meant to us and how happy we are with how it all went. Thank you to everyone who was there, who waited the extra 40 minutes while we battled with some technical difficulties, who cheered, sang our lyrics (wait, what?!) and danced with us. You were so supportive and after the first couple of songs the nervousness was almost gone and we could just enjoy sharing what we love together with you all. THANK YOU! You peeps are just great. <3

So, without further ado, here's our live set on the Velvet Soup stage at Fusion on Sunday night. Unfortunately the quality of the recording isn't great (where's the bass?!?), and we actually had to re-record a couple of parts at home due to an issue with the accordion microphone picking up the sound coming from the speakers, but we tried our best to play it exactly like we did on the night and blend it in smoothly with the original recording.  We are proud and happy and we hope you like it!

After three long years, we finally reunited and played a B2B set at Bucht der Träumer Festival. We couldn't have asked for a better opportunity to create a magical after hour on a beautiful, sunny Sunday morning💛
Playing at one of our favorite festivals for the first time with so many lovely people and close friends of ours was just out of this world

Woaah, that was quiet intense! Thanks for all the people who danced with me through the rain, I really enjoyed this special closing at this lovely festival! 

Thanks to @sahrabass for writing and recording the lovely intro story for the set and the outro track (which we developed together for last years @bassaramusic gig - we hope to release that soon!). 

Lots of love to @iva-bodul for beeing such a good travel buddy, helping me when preparing my set, giving me feedback and drinks, dancing, laughing and everything <3! 

Thanks to all the artists which I had the fun of collaborating with (@lask_aa, @iva-bodul, @latenightjockelsession, @seniorcitizen_wav and some more) or whose work I used for my edits!

When we arrived on sunday, it was all (still) a summer(nights) dream on the island and I enjoyed checking out all the places (and especially the funky float I should do the closing on on monday). As the weather forecasts seem to manifest on some heavy temperature drop and rain, I was a little bit nervous how that will work out with the setting on/by the water.
When I woke up on monday I read the message that my gig was moved to the Creatures Corner - which was in fact the best thing that could happen to me (so for that - thanks to the weather gods ;)). I really love that stage, the crew who build it, the soundsystem and the whole setting <3!

Direkt aus dem Schweizer Wald 🌳 importiert und mit einem Faible für Bretter machte sich codenzi auf die Reise in den Norden. Zwischen singenden Vögeln 🐦und rauschenden Blättern 🍃 blieb durchaus noch etwas Platz im Ohr für die hausgemachte Trommelfellmassage.

Endlich in echter Troubadix-Manier vom Baumhaus trällern 🎵 - ein Traum wurde wahr...

Directly imported from the Swiss forest 🌳 and with a passion for "Bretter", codenzi set off on a journey to the North. Between chirping birds 🐦 and rustling leaves 🍃, there was indeed still enough room in the ears for a homemade eardrum massage.

Finally, singing from the treehouse in true Troubadix fashion 🎵 — a dream came true...
