Sechs Tage am Stück wurde in diesem Jahr im beschauliche Örtchen Garbicz das gleichnamige Festival gefeiert. Zwischen Wald, Wiesen und Seen luden zahlreiche, liebevoll gestaltete Bühnen zum Tanz und Workshops zum Mitmachen ein. Für viele zählt das Garbicz zum jährlichen Highlight, ganz egal, ob DJ oder Raver.

Wir haben die zahlreichen Sets der diesjährigen Ausgabe zusammengesucht. Viel Spaß damit!

Wow! Dieses mal bekommt ihr ein Sahnehäubchen der Extraklasse auf die Ohren. Von hoch im Norden kommt er her und wir müssen euch sagen es weihna...halt ne, dass war doch ne ganz andere Story und auch wer komplett Anderes.

Okay, next try... Dieser feine Herr sorgt für satte Bässe und dreamy Flächen, die auf unser Gehör einprasseln. Ähnlich wie bei dem Tranceding mit dem beknackten Delfin, bloß in gut. Als ob Delfine auch irgendwas mit Musik am Hut hätten, geschweige denn überhaupt einen Hut haben. Dieser nette typ ausm Norden hingegen, hat's dafür mit Fischen (wobei Delfine ja bekanntermaßen keine Fische sind, aber das tut hier grad nix zur Sache). 

Nen Hut hat er zwar nicht aber dafür immer ne Cap und mit Musik kann er auch. Und eben genau deshalb weiß er, wie man nen ordentlichen Fang macht. Aber auch nur aufm Deck und nicht im Fangnetz, aber das is auch völlig in Ordnung so, denn fischen gehn wollen wir eh nicht, lieber das holzige Tanzbein schwingen. 

Wir sind froh dass wir den @Louwers für uns Heimlichs angeln konnten und er zu uns gehört wie die Sahne zur Torte. Bist du zu schwach, sind sie zu stark. So oder so ähnlich. Aber is ja auch völlig egal. 

Uff, lange Story, kurzer Sinn: 1 richtig gutes Mixtape is das geworden!

Heute kredenzen wir euch ne ordentliche Portion downtempo aus der tiefdruckkammer. Mit einer  deep sphärischen Prise gewürzt bummelt der Sound von @renasound und @louwers in unsere hypnotisierten schlummernden Geist und erfüllt uns mit Tanzlust und lässt die Festivalsaison gar nicht mehr so fern erscheinen! <3

In preparation for my Feminist Fight Day gig at Sisy, I took a dive into the swamp of 7 years of wisdom handed down to me. Unasked, of course.

"Give it your all, but don't be too much. Please the crowd, don't challenge them. But don't be boring either. Melodic house is not my thing, I like it straight and hard (pehehe, if you know what I mean). Now it's too dark. I expected you to play softer, I expected you to play feminine. Less vocals. No, more vocals, we want to sing along. Too much breakbeat. Too colourful. OMG definitely don't be artsy. No one books the artsy girl. Hey, you should listen to that one male DJ, he plays nice bangers. But not too many bangers. Can you play that banger again? Speaking of bangers, who did you bang that you're allowed to play here? Haha, just joking, but no for real, who? Why aren't you wearing a bra? Why are you wearing a bra? Show what you've got. But also be a feminist. Be hot AND political. Speak up... but not against my boy, he didn't mean it that way, you misunderstood. Stand up for other women... but not for those women, they are trouble, you don't want to be blacklisted. Please don't get drunk backstage again. Be more professional. Why are you so serious? Smile! :) Why are you so angry?"

I am angry. A really angry woman. I've decided to let it out more. And I'm learning to ignore those voices. Let them. Fuck it.

At Garbicz we had to honor to close the Seebühne stage on Thursday 04:00 until sunrise. The combination of the crowd, dancers, stage, surrounding trees, the lake, fog and upcoming sunrise made us to come up with this musical journey.
