This show aims to educate people about exciting things to do in Charleston, the Lowcountry, and the Southeast as we introduce listeners to individuals that have experienced crazy adventures and lived to tell the tales. We also focus on combining these adventures with the escapades of dating and marriage. Tune-in and hear how to live all aspects of life on purpose.

Ben-Jamin Toy

Growing up adventuring in the Pennsylvania backwoods, Ben-Jamin Toy once witnessed his mother knock out a horse with a two-fisted backhand. This taught him two important life lessons: 1. Don’t mess with Mom, and 2. You can achieve anything when you connect properly. Since moving to Charleston in 2005, he has made the latter his mantra, always working to bring people together. His latest endeavor, On Purpose Adventures, does just that through innovative events such as Surviving Capers Island and the rUNdead 5k. When he’s not working, Ben-Jamin enjoys hanging out at the beach and reading in his hammock.
