Rui Costa - aka D.SOUL  - was born on May 31, 1981 in Albufeira, Portugal.
Since teenager who felt a great passion for music, writing and recording in his home studio subjects, where, with the good vibrations of is Roland station that drop  the beat to record one more take.
In '98, in Amadora,Portugal, started production, combining simple melodies with sampled beats of the great lords of Hip Hop.
With the passage of time and the increasing taste for music, launched in 2000 in the company of four friends their first album with the band Instinct, one launched by boy band record Vidisco.
 For Rui ,was very important to go in search of new horizons: learn to dance and sing directly working with various music producers, choreographers and vocal coaches, all of them were very important for their future choices.
From north to south, Rui Costa Aka D.Soul, did shows, promotions in radio and television that gave him the knowledge of showbiz and the importance that the same have a career.
In 2005, with the stop band Instinct, Rui not discouraged and finds comfort in schools and PointBlank Mk2 production, which takes the audio courses that lead to achieving sound quality and also the notion of software and hardware for use in the construction of its themes.
Today DEM SOUL producer, singer, songwriter and performer, has as main objective to get everyone through creativity, using all the moves to attract the best sound has to give, because music is his life.
