Yes, I think I’m through with the fringe.

Before, I didn’t have a chance. 
I had to check it out.
I always wanted a look and a touch,
but it wasn’t enough.
I saw you talk with your eyes.

Look what showed up and I can’t resist it.

All Talk Is for Show

Created in 2006, a very short, quirky and happy tune inspired by my cats, Christopher Robin and Pigaletto.

I created this with Garageband, using the letter keys of my laptop instead of piano keys. What can I say? I felt inspired and that was my only option. 

My mother is a brilliant vocalist and pianist, my father was a guitarist and sung like and angel as well. Due to their skill and influence, as well as my other brilliant musical family members, (not to mention almost every friend I've ever had or dated), I worried that the offbeat pauses in this little tune ruined it. But now I kind of love that about this song. 

I love to write songs and experiment with sound. 
This one was fun to make! Play it for your cats!

Sit back, close your eyes and listen to the soundscape... do you hear the dinosaur sounds???  I distorted the sound of a nickel falling on my desk to sound like gigantic, thundering footsteps... which inspired this piece.
Original sound design composed at the Atlanta College of Art sound lab in 2005 with a Vintage Juno 6 Synthesizer and Protools.
