Co-fondateur du label Love Reaction, La Roze fait partie de ces mélomanes obsessionnels toujours à la recherche de nouveaux disques. A l'affût, il arpente record shops ou marchés aux puces sans relâche à la recherche de rareté vinyles et de groove encore à découvrir, et c’est avec très grand plaisir qu’il vous fera découvrir ses trouvailles aussi éclectiques qu’inédites derrière les platines !

L’idée derrière ce mix, plus que d’essayer de développer un univers particulier, c’était de toucher à un peu de tout et concentrer un maximum des influences que je pourrais explorer au cours d’une night complète dans la cave à faire transpirer les murs, quand on se la fait en mode dancefloor.
Concrètement, ça donne un mix en deux parties : le début c’est plus ‘slow chuggerz’, pour taper du pied en sifflant des pintes, et la dernière heure est plus orientée démarrage de soirée / club !

Big thanks to our friend Ivan Berko for jumpstarting the year with our first Sharp FM mix of 2024.  The opening soft battalion of soaring, warming vocal-driven gems is highlighted by Bronski Beat's 80s classic "No War"; Jimmy Somerville's levitation-inducing vocals set the tone before things really take flight—the percussive second half peaks with the synth-fuelled neon boogie of Roberto Lodola's ode to Paul Renner, "Futura's Dreaming". 

Ivan's been a fixture and guiding light within the New York music scene for many years. His blend of all things synth-y, sleaze-y, tech-y, proggy, and, of course, Balearic are always surprising and have an unmistakable depth of feeling. Ivan's inexhaustible love for music really comes through in his sets, which showcase his ability to recontextualize dance classics alongside contemporary deep cuts—the man is always on the pulse of things. "Come early, stay late, leave sweaty!"
