The follow up EP to Yellow Claw’s epic Jeffree’s debut, Amsterdam Twerk Music cleans up your definition of “dirty” just so they can strip it down to booty claps and bass rolls. The first track, “DJ Turn It Up” is a subtle dance floor anthem reminiscent of the heavy bass from your nostalgic middle school days of grinding to timeless hip-hop anthems.

On the second track, Yellow Claw teams up with Tropkillaz and The Kemist to bring us “Assets,” a track that twists its vocals in a way that winds through the most bass-hungry, whimsical quarter of your imagination. “P*$$YRICH feat. Adje” then transports you deeper into Yellow Claw’s bass dungeon, leaving its victims up against the walls bumping and grinding till sunrise.

Amsterdam Twerk Music concludes with “Slow Down”, an addictive baseline paired with a jock-jams reminiscent hook. Yellow Claw are the tastemakers of guilty pleasure. But lets be honest… there’s no guilt attached to the obsession.

of German DJ and Producer duo Lissat & Voltaxx from Cologne

During numerous shows around the world within the past four years Lissat & Voltaxx have been collecting inspirations and ideas for the creation of their debut album. The wonderful result is Soundwaves, a concept album that reflects everything what the two producers admire within one of their greatest passions - electronic music. Like a cycle of the seasons the twelve songs appear vernally fresh, summery warm, autumnally melancholic and wintery cool. Multifaceted and glorious as an album can be.

On the vocal side support came in from the duo’s good friends and singers Jenniffer Kae and Makeda, but also Lissat & Voltaxx themselves have seeked the vocal booth to lend their voices to some of the album tracks, a move that adds even more personal Lissat & Voltaxx spice to the album. Besides that Soundwaves of course can’t miss out on the two biggest hits in the duo’s producer career. Groovejet and The Sunken Bells of Ibiza for this reason have been intentionally reworked and now turn up fresh, glossy and shiny for the year of 2016.

The various genres on the album reach from atmospheric Chillout and warm Electronica to Deep- and Tech-House as well as even some Melodic Techno. The different moods within are taking the listener onto a journey through chilled Beach vibes, across organic sounds to clubby peaktime bangers in Lissat & Voltaxx’s typical signature sound, to finally melt together in a marvellous masterpiece of pure joy and happiness.

No matter if listening in the car or dancing to it at an Afterhour - Soundwaves serves as the perfect soundtrack for any place and any time.

The Club edition is going to be available from Beatport on 26th February 2016. Watch out for this, feel the magic and get mesmerized!

Kicking things off, Meyer delivers an enchanting ride with 'LA Strings', where whimsical pads rise and sweep as a hypnotizing bass line whirls endlessly across a landscape of earthy percussion. Spring 2016 saw the release of Stimming’s fourth full length album “Alpe Lusia”, which was named after a remote little alpine hut in northern Italy, in which he had secluded himself to work on his LP for a full month, all by himself.  From the title track of his LP emanates his following release on Diynamic, the Alpe Lusia Remixes, and the remixing protagonists are none other than Robag Wruhme, long time collaborateurs Acid Pauli & NU and last but not least Solomun.   

First off is Pampa mainstay Robag Wruhme, whose take on Stimming’s “Alpe Lusia” starts off as a dark and brooding tech house gem. Later, when you have made your way through its rough outer shell, peeling off the hard claps, it shows its soft core, with gentle pads caressing the arrangement.  

Acid Pauli & NU deliver a deep and driving, almost haunting reinterpretation of “Alpe Lusia", with a thumping bass and ethereal vocals that are hypnotizing.  

Finally, Solomun adds a remix that reminds you of the rabbit hole in Alice's Wonderland: the longer you dig, the deeper you get, and the more fantastic is what you experienece.

The original version is the only track on the album without a real groove, which is why Stimming chose precisely this track to be remixed - to see what the others would do about that. Now it is fair to say that all three remixes have succeeded at this task.
