Doomcore Records was started in December 2012 by artist and author Sönke Moehl aka Low Entropy in Hamburg, Germany. The idea behind the label was to have an outlet for sounds in the style of Doomcore, Darkcore, and more sombre and twisted Techno in general. But the label also always welcomed music that broke the Doomcore mold and brought in new and fresh ideas from such genres as EBM, Dark Wave, Video Game Music or even Black Metal - or just Avantgarde and sonic experimentalism in general.

In the years that Doomcore Records existed so far, especially three influences to the Doomcore sound proved to be fruitful:
That of music that has been traditionally called "Industrial" and that got closer to Doomcore in recent times; and genres that are associated with it, such as Dark Ambient.
That of Gabber music, especially "Oldschool" Gabber of the 90s.
And that of harder and darker forms of Techno, that grew in popularity in the last years.
So you're likely to find a sombre Dark Ambient track, a melancholic 200 BPM Hardcore affair, or even a frantic Industrial Black Metal song in between the more traditional Doomcore sounds on this label.

Doomcore Records always had the strict policy to just look at "the music" when choosing releases, so you'll find both newcomers and yet unknown talents together with big names and veterans of Hardcore and Doomcore on this label.
Some of the bigger artists that have released on Doomcore Records are AnTraxid, The Darkcreator, Taciturne and Nkisi - who had her debut release on DCR!

The label had plenty of output and hit it's 150th release in 2021 and is still going strong.
2021 also saw the release of the first Doomcore Records vinyl, "Doomland", a collaboration with Teknoland Production.
Doomcore Records so far was mentioned in magazines such as The Wire, Pitchfork, Fact Magazine, Crack Magazine, and plenty, plenty of others.
The Doomcore Records team consists of Low Entropy who selects the tracks and releases for the label, and Mattia Travaglini who creates the artworks for the releases which also set the mood for the sounds.

So this is the little description for that Doomcore centered label.

I am a collaborative lyricist/singer/songwriter who has been working with various artists from abroad & near for 8 yrs here on soundcloud and its been quite an experience that will carry on for the years to come. I started out very early as a light opera singer and again very late as a contemporary singer working within the Electronic Underground Scene in primarily Europe. My first band was one other artist who was a Minimal Darkwave/Synthpop composer from Belgium named Frank Reynders of Devil Shy in whom I wrote with for approx 1 year in 2011. We released an album in 2012 that had some success and we released a couple of videos on YouTube. Thereafter I started working with 2  artists whom I had met here on soundcloud, Stephen Surreal of UNUNE who is a Dark Ambient/Dark Media composer in which I did primarily spoken word for him as well as an another Belgian Dark Minimal/Industrial artist. This is when I was approached by more & more artists. In 2014 I met Gary Watts of Nature Of Wires and to make a long story short this is where it all began to unfold with tons of airplay over various internet radio stations to some more undergrounds physical radio stations such as The BBC in Herefordshire UK which was a regional station. We then released "Cyber Rendezvous" in 2016 which had great success in most of Europe. In 2015 prior to the physical album release, one of the tracks entitled " Perfect Menagerie" was No 5 on the Top 30 Pop Charts in most of Europe on SOL Radio stationed in Israel-A program with Oren Amram & "Synthesize Me". We have since then in 2017 released a digital remix album of all the  original tracks from the physical release simply entitled "Cyber Rendezvous Remixed". We have aalso released 3 official videos on YouTube for the tracks entitled "Perfect Menagerie", "Dance With Your Own Skeletons" (remixed by Lloyd Price of Massive Ego)& "we Kill All" (remixed by Cosmo of My Cosmo). I have also released my own Collaborative work independently on Bandcamp as well as a physical release of a 9 track album entitled "Collaborations Vol. 1" by CountessM in 2015 which also had some viral success. There have been misc digital releases of my collaborative work with such artists as In This Mode, Denovomutans, DROID SECTOR DECAY  and many other artists.

...born 1980 in Hamburg, Germany. in 1996 i discovered the world of hard electronic music...
 and immediately fell in love with it... i never heard music with that extreme energy and passion behind it before...
 in 1997 i decided to create music myself... my style back then was mostly experimental hardcore, breakcore and speedcore...
 in 2000 i had my first release then, my 12" on Blut recordings.
 later that year, Betty Bombshell and me started a show on the terrestrial radio station "FSK" in Hamburg.
 the idea of the show was to broadcast music from the experimental and hard music scenes to an audience that might have not much contact with that kind of sound before. Betty left the show in 2001. 

 there was still a need for that kind of thing in Hamburg; Sampler19 and me teamed up, and we created the "Hamburg Hardcore Radio" show.
 apart from playing old and new records and tracks from the hard scenes on air, we also did many all-night shows, featuring a lot of guest DJs. later, The Man Unknown and DJ Escada joined us, and we started a crew that did the radio shows together.

 in 2002 a 12" by me was released on Praxis, i was very happy about this release, but i do not want to hype myself here, so i won't say too much.
 later that year my 12" on Black Monolith came out, which was again a bit different than my earlier releases, because it was an Hardacid/Acidcore EP.
 2002 was also the year when me and Sampler19 started the "All-Out Demolition!" parties in Hamburg. later, DJ Escada and The Man Unknown joined our crew there, too.
 the idea of All-Out Demolition! was to create a party series for the extreme, interesting and experimental types of Hardcore and Breakcore - parties for that type of sound only happened very rarely in Hamburg back then.
 in 2003, an album by me was released on Widerstand records. but again, i do not want to hype myself too much. the sound was in the various "styles" i produced in so far... breakcore, noize, ambient...

today the styles of the music i produce include breakcore, acidcore, doomcore and dark ambient.
